Firearm Description
The 12-gauge and the 20-gauge shotgun are chambered for 3" magnum loads, making the Montefeltro equally at home in New England woodcock cover and a Louisiana duck blind. This is one gun that looks as good as it shoots. Stocked with beautifully finished satin walnut, the Montefeltro is the gun for the wingshooting purist who wants the feel of a classic game gun with the added advantage of a semi-auto.

Yep Review by SBM
Value Quality Price After trying about 15 shotguns on for size, the Benelli Montefeltro was the best fit for me, am 6'1", 200 lbs. Couldn't wait to get to the range, 1st round out of the box, 19 out of 25. 2nd = 20 out of 25. Been shooting about 2 months with a 870 pump. Can't wait to get back out. Retail was $1,299, got it on sale for $999. GREAT GUN. (Posted on 3/16/13)
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, High capacity, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use

Benelli is THE semi-auto shotgun Review by Rick
Value Quality Price I have had several makes of semi-auto shotguns for clays and bird hunting....Remingtons, Brownings, Winchesters, Benellis. By far, the most reliable and easy to maintain shotguns are my Benellis. My 12 ga Montefeltro is an absolute delight. Shot sporting clays with it this past weekend and broke 90 out of 100 without changing my .008 constriction choke tube. You do have to use a 3-dram 1 1/8 ounce load (1200 fps) as a minimum for sure cycling of any 12 ga Benelli but that is a small concession for the absolute finest semi-auto shotgun available today. I'm going to get a 20 ga Montefeltro for upland hunting very soon. (Posted on 12/26/12)

very good value Review by Kenny Brown
Price Value Quality you get what you pay for. when you get tired of constantly cleaning the carbon from your gasser, replacing O-rings in your Remington, and having the gun fail at the worst possible time, choke up the extra dollars and never worry about those issues again. Fast handling, superb balance, natural pointing. I have both a 12 and a 20. recoil is a little more noticeable due to light weight, but this is the best auto I have seen yet. (Posted on 12/2/12)

Handles very well and looks good doing it Review by Ken Garcia
Price Value Quality Used it on Dove in Texas and Pheasant in North Dakota. 2 miss feeds on light loads out of 200-300 rounds. Love the handling of recoil on heavy pheasant loads. Swings well and easy to carry. (Posted on 11/18/12)

WAY OVERPRICED SWEEt shooting but use high brass shells Review by Dan McPhail
Quality Price Value i owned two brand new montefeltro 20's. ridiculously overpriced at $1000. Out of the box or with 1000 rounds always jammed on light 7/8 ounce target loads no matter how well lubricated. that said it is the single easiest pointing, most ergonomic, sweet feeling best looking autoloader ever made if they'd be honest and tell you only use hot shells (Posted on 3/2/12)
Pros: Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand
Cons: Expensive, Pricey

Great shotgun Review by Michael
Quality Price Value Benelli makes great products, but some are heavy as many 12 gauges are, such as my M1. However, if you want a 20 gauge shotgun that is accurate, cycles very rapidly and can be carried all day, this is the gun for you. It is great for pheasants and chukkar and would also be a good duck gun, easy to shoulder rapidly. It does not like light loads but otherwise functions with everything else. It is easy to clean and if kept that way, seems to be reliable with hunting loads. It is pricey but all my family likes this gun and everyone seems to shoot it well. Like my M1, it can cycle 3 shots under 2 seconds if needed. I would highly recommend it. (Posted on 2/5/12)
Pros: Accurate, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Easy to Use

Great Upland bird gun Review by Remy
Quality Price Value Got to try Winchester, Beretta, and The Benelli all in one weekend. The Benelli just felt the most comfortable . On the range and on quail I like this gun best. I am a big guy, large hands, but it still felt balanced and shot precisely. I am a relatively new bird hunter, but this is the gun for me. (Posted on 1/3/12)
Pros: Easy to shoot well, Ergonomical, Fits very nicely in my hand
Cons: Expensive

Best bird gun ever Review by jim sullivan
Quality Price Value I own both in 12 and 20 gauge, best bird guns I've ever owned .What do I compare it to -- A5 Browning mag 20 -- Remington 1100,12 gauge sa skeet and 20 gauge lt-20 special field -- Benelli 12 gauge SBL -- Dehaan 20 gauge o/u -- Razinni 12 gauge o/u -- and a couple others -- if you walk alot , following your dogs or driving pheasants in big fields , get a Montfeltro.
