Quality Price Value If you like the 1911 platform but like to shoot the affordable 9mm you don't have many options. I consider this a semi-custom firearm. It's expensive but is worth the price. This thing is a tack driver at self defense ranges. Once it's broken in it will feed anything, my break in was around 300 rounds. Has exactly what I was looking for, commander size, nite sites, rounded butt, lightweight frame, and a durable finish. It's just the right size to carry all day and still be easy to shoot and accurate. Highly recommend. (Posted on 1/25/12)

Quality Price Value I purchased the Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm because it had all the features that I was looking for. Bobtail, night sights, slim grips, matte black finish, light weight alloy frame, commander length and 9mm caliber. This pistol is accurate easy to control and shoots to point of aim right out of the box. It has also fired everything that I have fed it without malfunction. (500+ rounds various ammo mostly 115gr fmj & Hollow points & +p.) The $1500 price initially made me check for some other reviews and after seeing so much positive feedback I was sold, If anything this pistol has exceeded my expectations. (Posted on 1/6/12)
