Great Gun for those of us on a Budget Review by Bryce D
Quality Price Value I love this firearm. I have had it in the gen 4 configuration for over a year and have never had a single misfeed with over 1000 rounds fired. The gun is reliable and I am confident that it will fire if I ever need it to. I purchased it for three gun because of the 15+1 capacity and a preference towards the .40s&w round.
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, High capacity, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use, Hi Cap Mags
The recoil is easy to control with a few trips to the range, and once you shoot one, one trip to the range won't be enough anyway. I am consitantly on the size of a fist at 25 yards and as a paramedic I can tell you that a balled fist is approximate to the size of an adult heart.
If you're like me and love the gadgets and ad ons, there are manufacturers dedicated to after market parts that further improve the recoil reduction and sight picture. This is only by preference though as the gun is a complete package as is. I'll tell you though that the extended slide realease is almost a must if you prefer a one hand method.
The only downside I've found with this gun is the difficulty to conceal it. I am a CPL holder with a larger waistline and keeping in the lower back or under the shoulder carry are the two positions that seem to work well. I just purchased a Glock 27 gen 4 to correct this (along with some fruits, vegetables and excercise) and it fits very well in the pocket with all the other benefits of the 22. (Posted on 1/29/12)

pretty good gun Review by Austin
Quality Price Value I have owned a Glock 22 for a while now and I have been pleased with it for the most part. I also own a Smith an Wesson M&P and used to have a Springfield XDm. I found the M&P to be a better overall pistol but liked the Glock's feel more than the Springfield's very high barrel axis. (Posted on 8/22/11)
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, High capacity, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Lightweight, Reliable, Easy to Use, Easy to conceal, Hi Cap Mags

Gold standard Review by Joshua All my reviews
(8)
Quality Price Value The Glock 22 has probably dethroned the 1911 as the Gold standard by which everything is compared. With its light weight, high mag capacity, reliability and over all “it’s so simple its stupid” factor, it’s no wonder why so many police departments have adopted them. So far its has ate everything I have fed it from nasty gun show reloads to high end hallow points and begs for more. The trigger is a little spongey at first but its breaks nice and clean. The Glock has acceptable accuracy for the price and for what it was designed for.
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, High capacity, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use, Hi Cap Mags
The 40 S&W cartridge is a “compromise” cartridge between the 9mm and 45 but there has been no argument to its stopping power. And its relatively low cost compared the 45.
Overall if you don’t own one or have at least shot one, you’re missing out.
