Quality Price Value I've had my G36 for a few years now and I love it. I recently started making my own rounds and have not had any issues with feeds. I used to carry a G23, but really didn't like the recoil of the .40. The G36 is smoother to and for, me. Do not compare this weapon to the 1911. I feel much more accurate when shooting a full-sized 1911, but my G36 is my "go to" when carrying concealed, and I carry everywhere I'm legally allowed here in GA. I carry in a Tagua OWB mostly, but received a Supertuck by CrossBreed for Christmas and am working on the transition. My Tagua is broken in, whereas my Supertuck is not. The major benefit of the Supertuck is that my G36 can be completely concealed with a tucked in shirt.
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use, Easy to conceal
Now, I know some folks will complain "it only holds 6 rounds". But, I don't find that a problem. I believe that at close range if 6 isn't enough I've failed my training. I've got a couple of magazines with the Pearce +1 extension, but in my opinion, its just enough to make the G36 bulky. Bottom line is, train with what you carry.

Price Value Quality I am 68 and artheritic. But I watched people operate all glocks on youtube....I know I'm not that weak because they jack the slide with almost no strain. It is all but impossable for me to breake the g36 down for cleaning and lubing !!! One gun smith said that the action was almost normal, I don't believe it...Any Ideas ???? (Posted on 1/23/13)
