Firearm Description
The firing mechanism is double action only. The magazine has a 6 round capacity. The KEL-TEC P-3AT is the lightest .380 Auto pistol ever made. Thanks to its locking dynamics and superior ergonometry, perceived recoil and practical accuracy are comparable to much larger guns.
The P-3AT is mainly intended for plainclothes police officers as a secondary weapon, or for concealed carry by licensed citizens. The small grip size and light trigger pull make the P-3AT ideal for female shooters.

very nice, and simple Review by scott
Quality Price Value I have 2 p3At s and never had a problem or a jam, very accurate, I have shot it at 40 yards and hit a coke can every time, some people cant get use to the long trigger pull , but I find it very simple.. its just like pulling the trigger on a Revolver with out cocking the hammer, " most ppl dont understand that " I can carry it in my pocket, its no bigger than a cell phone... Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use, Easy to conceal

Good backup but not reliable Review by Darren
Quality Price Value Purchased this little pistol, after hearing how great the little guy was... the trigger pull is very long, because of the fact theres no safety. Some probably like this. I do NOT have large hands and i felt myself barely being able to pull the trigger all the way. It simply was quite far. At first, I loved this little pistol. I will tell you, it likes to be clean. After 100 rounds, you can expect some guns to start FTL, or FTE. I had both of these things happen after two boxes of ammo. Even more, once it was cleaned and brought back out... I want to say I had a good 350 rounds-500 rounds into the pistol with practicing, and it broke. Folks stated to bring it to Keltec because they have a lifetime warranty. That may be correct, and any gunsmith wanted 50 bucks just to TOUCH the gun. So anyway, I decided to watch a few youtube videos and I learned how to fully disassemble the gun past just cleaning.
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand
Once it was taken apart, theres a long metal slide on the right side of the assembly. This metal piece (similar to a small version of a popcicle stick with a small hole in the end) had come off of its small perch. Now, there is NOTHING holding this perch in place. It may have been a once in a lifetime thing. But I'll stick with probably not. Theres nothing holding it in place and when this happens the trigger will not return back to its original position. I fixed it, and sold it for cheap the following week. I'd pass on this and spend 50 bucks more on a great Bersa Thunder .380. Now THATS a great small pistol. (Posted on 3/31/11)

perfect back up gun Review by alvaro All my reviews
(1)
Quality Price Value Perfect back up gun. Very accurate at 7 yards, but past 15yards is useless. Big recoil due to its light weight frame and caliber. .380. I like the fact that it doesn't have a safety. Great price too. (Posted on 2/24/11)
