  1. An excellent first rifle. Review by G.P.

While very basic in appearance and design, the Model 60 is an excellent, functional firearm, as evidenced by its thousands of enthusiastic fans. It is quite accurate for a gun of its modest price, and requires relatively little care. The standard sights are a little crude, though still adequate for most purposes. Addition of an inexpensive scope improves accuracy greatly. (Posted on 2/5/14)

Pros: Accurate, Easy to shoot well, Reliable

If you like tube feds, this is the way to go. Tried and true, reliable and robust, this is the way to go if you are on a budget, but still need to be able to harvest critter meat or just control the local varmint population. (Posted on 11/26/12)

Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Simple Design, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Reliable
