When the need calls for a hard-working, rugged and accurate high-powered rifle, the Browning X-Bolt Hunter is the only choice. It's low-luster finish on the solid steel receiver, barrel and walnut prevents glare and reflection. 1. Another AWESOME Browning Gun/Excellent Shooter Review by Mack Adams

I purchased an X-bolt in .243 Win. for my dad a couple months ago, mounted a Redfield Revolution 3-9 x 40 mm scope on it and headed to the range. It was no shock, but that rifle is an awesome shooter with fairly low recoil, even though it's lightweight. It will shoot sub-MOA groups at 100 yards and probably 1/2" groups if I could do it. The fit and finish are oustanding and the action is as smooth as glass. I will definitely be buying one of these for myself. Browning hits another homerun with this rifle! (Posted on 12/3/10)

Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use

  2. best rifle i have bought since my bar in 30-06 Review by mike walker

I have owned many bolt rifles in my days, and this is one of the best i have seen in a long time; mine is a 243, since i have other larger cal, but it has become my favorite.

mine is wood stock with stainless, which is not in the browning catalog; I was told by Browning that it is a 'show special', and man, it is nice;smooth, quick, and VERY accurate; I love the rotary magazine, and the bolt unlock button (you can remove the bolt on 'safe'); One very nice rifle; (Posted on 8/15/11)

  3. Browning X Review by Paul Prochko

I have the A Bolt and X Bolt and the X is much more refined. Better trigger and the rifle is well thought out. Nothing beats a three lever trigger

I like the wood stocked Hunter model and accuracy is exc. (Posted on 11/5/11)
