  1. Positive So Far... Review by lGordo

I traded a CZ O/U for this Gold Wing...20 GA and I took it out the other day to the range...I like the extractors...was using only the top barrel with a full choke. The grandson and I shoot the Browning Citori, Winchester 1300 Pump {20 Ga} and a old Savage 22/20 O/U...and also 3 new H&R's single shots. My late dad use to tell me that when you get good that it doesn't matter what shotgun you are shooting...Well...dad was right. I like the feel of the Gold Wing...I'm gonna replace the recoil pad with a gunsmith and I shot factory loads and my 7/8 Oz 20 GA reloads. I'm busting those "birds" at 16 yards with no problem. I'm pleased with the firearm and glad that I was able to purchase it from the neighbor. (Posted on 7/23/17)

  2. Fantastic value Review by Someidiot

So I recently picked one of these up in 20, fit and feel was way beyond the small price tag. For the price of a clunky 870 express or mossberg 500 I was able to get this gem. Took it out for its test run down by the river and ran into a flock of quail and in no time went 5 for 7 shots! Walked to the truck and hit a high flying snow goose!!! Yup it will do! If you find one buy it you won't regret it, yea not a Beretta but at 1/4 the price, Awsome real Awsome! (Posted on 12/21/16)

First 512 I bought lasted less than two years of trap shooting. After shooting it,it would open on its own.Took it back to dealer. They sent it to Stevens, they didnt even question anything. They sent us a new 512. Not even one year same thing. [price you get what you pay for} (Posted on 8/5/16)

  6. The firing pin broke after 6 visits to the trap range Review by Teg

I use the my Stevens 512 for trap shooting. After only about 500 rounds in 5 1/2 months, the firing pin appears to be broken on the upper barrel and now neither barrel will fire. I am taking it back to Cabellas tomorrow. Hopefully I will receive a new replacement. A new gun should not break in only 6 months of use or 6 times at the trap range. I am not interested in waiting a long time for any repairs as another reviewer stated he had to wait 6 to 10 weeks for Bass Pro to get his firing pin replaced. Hopefully Cabelas has better customer service. (Posted on 6/23/14)

Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate

  7. Great O/U for the price! Review by J. Whitten

I use it for Skeet, it has been reliable and consistent after 500+ 12 ga. rounds through it. Eats through factory and self loaded ammo; even those with worn out casings. 5 chokes enable me to shoot Trap as well. (Posted on 6/15/14)

Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Easy to maintain

Bought this gun as I felt the quality appeared better than most $1,000 guns. Shot one season of trap and in October both firing pins broke, second one three shells after the first. Savage replaced the gun with a new one, but it took two months to get it.

Have not been able to shoot the new gun yet. (Posted on 2/16/14)

Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Easy to Use

the only issue i have had is the first time i fired my 512 shotgun both barrells fired at the same time. that was very bad . the shotgun was less than a month old. took it to a gun smith for him to look at the 512, and said it too much grease from the factory. (Posted on 4/19/13)
