Firearm Description
The SuperNova Tactical comes with either rifle sights or newly designed, military-style ghost-ring sights. The rear sight is click-adjustable for both windage and elevation. Optional three-dot tritium inserts can be easily installed. A magazine cut-off on the forearm allows for safe carry with a full magazine and empty chamber. Butt stock options include a tactical pistol grip stock, or the ComforTech® stock. The top of the SuperNova’s receiver is drilled and tapped to accommodate easy attachment of military-style optics.

Quality Price Value Bought this gun last year, and never put it thru its paces. Finally got a chance to shoot it last week. Wow, what a gun. Military shot, remington home defense,hornady critical defense, winchester bird shot, and various rifeled slugs. This gun takes it all on. (Posted on 2/27/12)

Quality Price Value The action and recoil absorption from the factory stock is next to none. I understand the legacy of the 870, but I find this relatively new kid on the block to be a superior gun in almost every respect. History is the only thing a 500 or 870 has on this gun. I also think it's a beautiful design. Then again, who knows design better than the Italians? (Posted on 2/17/12)

Quality Price Value This gun is extremely well designed and user friendly. It shoulders like a custom gun. The Comfort-Tech stock reduces recoil significantly. The trigger is good for a gun of this type. It cycles very smoothly. I don't think that "short-cycling" will occur with this gun. The safety is well located, as is the slide-release. The gun is made of weather-proof material so you don't have to worry about getting it wet. Easy to load and unload. Excellent ghost-ring sights. Shoots slugs accurately. Great value. Quality Price Value Great shotgun. Even with an 18" barrel, you can shoot trap with it. Comfortech stock makes the extra $80 over the cost of a similar Rem 870 worth it. One con though is that when I go to buy a field barrel for this shotgun, the barrel is going to cost what a new 870 will cost. (Posted on 8/28/11)

Quality Price Value You cannot buy a better pump shotgun for the money. Period. I researched up, down and sideways trying to find a better value and I couldn't. With Benelli's current $50 rebate offer and my local dealer's 10% off sale, the Supernova was only $80 more out-the-door than a standard Mossberg 500, and for that difference I got military ghost-ring sights, a drilled and tapped receiver, adjustable shock-absorbing Comfortech stock, 3-1/2" shell capability, rotating locking bolt, and Benelli quality. Any ONE of those features was worth the extra money, much less all of them. Would a Mossberg 500 do the job for home defense? Yes. Is my family's life worth the extra $80 for top quality? Hell yes. You never regret buying the best, and Supernova is the best pump shotgun on the market today. My life and my family are worth spending a few bucks more, and the Supernova is worth every penny.
