The excellent handling characteristics of the P239 are the result of engineering we call “performance engineering” and it’s one of the keys to all SIG SAUER® pistols. 1. Extremely reliable, well made, comfortable Review by Jessie

Fires everything I put into it. accurate enough, comfortable to hold. I like the business like finish, no attempt to be pretty. It is really not as small as many carry guns but it a stable secure platform. Never a failure to fire or eject in the 15 years I have owned it. Would definitely buy another. (Posted on 8/17/14)

  3. I like it with conditions. Review by TedF

I purchared the P239 because I carry a P229 on duty and thought I would make a good off-duty weapon. I have medium sized hand and it is hard to get a good grip on the weapon for me. It had a long break in period, 400 to 500 rds before it became reliable, but I still have to be careful what I feed it. (Mainly Federal Hyda-shok and Critial Defense only). I have come to trust SIG for the great firearms they make, but when you first pick this one up and it rattles I just can't recommend to fellow LEO or armed citizens. (Posted on 2/26/13)

Pros: Nice Recoil, Lightweight, Easy to conceal
    Cons: Expensive

  4. It could be the most reliable gun I own. Review by Richard

It is a little thicker than most single stack 40 cal pistols but it fits perfectly in my (medium ) size hands. It is not that light but still OK for CCW. It will feed anything you put in it with no problems for me after a few thousand rounds. (Posted on 2/4/12)

Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable, Easy to Use, Easy to conceal
