Top 5 values in personal defense handgun today Review by Timmy Two Guns
Value Quality Price The only mark against the SP2022 is the NIB price. This is all due to the scare/panic/gouging going on in the firearms market. I have purchased both a .40 S&W and a 9mm version neither of which cost me more than $375 total including shipping, FFL vig, and registration. I was seeing SP2022's under $400 pretty regularly before Barry and the dipshit squad started tilting windmills last fall. It was a other worldly deal then, merely a good deal now. GO BUY ONE. Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Easy to shoot well, Reliable, Easy to Use

Completely satisfied Review by John
Price Value Quality I've had this gun for over a year now, have shot many brands of mostly low end ammo, including reloads, and it has yet to jam. Shoot good, feels good, looks good and cost $400. That is value! Too big for concealed carry, but great fun at the range. My only gripe is that spare mags are expensive. (Posted on 8/12/12)
Pros: Shoots everything I feed, Accurate, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Ergonomical, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand, Reliable
Cons: Hard to clean

poor customer service Review by Ed E
Quality Price Value internal parts have very rough finish with burrs that cut you when you clean it. had to have a gunsmith finish the parts because of sig sauers poor quality and poor customer service. never buy a cheeply made gun from a company that just blows you off after the sale. Pros: Easy to shoot well, Fits very nicely in my hand, Easy to Use
Cons: Hard to clean

Great Value Weapon Review by Steve
Quality Price Value I've have my SP2022 40 S&W for about 6 months now and have fired about 1000 rounds through it. I was having issues with reloads and the gun was not feeding properly and the slide began to rust (I live two blocks from beach) needless to say I called Sig and they immediately replaced the slide and polished the barrel for me and now the gun is a work horse... it eats anything I throw at it. Not a single failure since Sig worked on it. Rust is no longer an issue. I must have gotten a bum weapon out of the box, but Sigs customer service made sure I was happy with the weapon. A+ for Sig warranty service and A+ for the gun now that they've fixed it for me. Even with the initial problems Sigs customer service and the weapons perfomance after the warranty work perfomed make it a must buy and a steal for the price they are selling them at. The double action trigger pull is a bit stiff, but I think it makes it a nice safety feature if you decide to carry the weapon. The decocker feature works like a charm. (Posted on 1/11/12)
Pros: Accurate, Simple Design, Easy to maintain, Easy to shoot well, Nice Recoil, Lightweight, Fits very nicely in my hand
Cons: Too Large

Best Bang For Your Buck Review by Kenny D
Quality Price Value I've owned since Dec 2011 and I have found that this is far the best handgun I've owned. I would not have any problems depending on this gun to save my life. Extremely accurate at 7 yards and would still get the job done at distances up to 20 yards. Smooth trigger in DA and SA and low recoil allows you to have great groupings in rapid fire. All of the controls are within a thumbs reach and the "sandy feel" of the grips are comfortable and stay put in your hand. As for concealment I have not tried to conceal this weapon because I use it for Home Defense and for sport shooting at the range. It will eat anything you feed it and will treat you just as well as you treat it. Clean it after each shooting session and I feel it will remain reliable and will last you for as long as you own it. If it says Sig Sauer you can be assured it is battle tested. It is standard issue carry weapons for many of the U.S. Government officials and several of other country's Military establishments. Great polymer frame pistol, very underrated. Review by Brendan Malloy
Quality Price Value When I saw that sig was producing a reasonably priced pistol that was not dao, I had to check it out. With 3 sized grip panels and great ergonomics, this gun is comfortable for all hand sizes. The great stock sights and smooth trigger allow for fantastic accuracy out to 15 yards off hand. This gun is as good or better than any other in the $450 to $600 range. Luckily it is only $400. I have purchased 2, so i wouldn't have to share when I went to the range with my fiancee.
