The 7mm Rem Mag is a belted bottleneck cartridge with an overall length of 3.29”, and a case capacity of 82 grains (H2O). It uses a large magnum rifle primer and fires a .284” diameter bullet at velocities of 3000+ feet per second. Standard rifling is 1:9 or 1:10” twist rates and maximum pressure is 61,000 PSI.
