Gun Descriptions

218 Bee Ammo About The .218 Bee Ammo is a .22 caliber Ammo that is a centerfire rifle cartridge created mainly for varmint hunting purposes. It was designed and made available in the markets in 1937 in the United States. The .218 Bee Ammo is named for the bore diameter of the barrel the cartridge is chambered in rather than the bullet's nomenclature reflecting the bullet's name in some way. The parent casing used to design the .218 Bee Ammo was the .25-20 Winchester Ammo. It was done by necking the .25-20 Winchester Ammo down to accept the .224 diameter. During the early introduction, the .218 Bee Ammo showed promise, but because of the rifles' poor performance, the cartridge accuracy greatly suffered. The overall case length of the .218 Bee Ammo is 34.2mm, and the bullet diameter of this cartridge is 5.7mm. The 50-grain bullet variant of the .218 Bee Ammo can travel at a velocity of 2,654 feet per second while creating an energy level of 782 ft.lbf. Manufacturer The .218 Bee Ammo was inspired by the design of the .25.20 Winchester Ammo, and the Winchester Repeating Arms Company created it in 1937 in the United States. Uses The .218 Bee Ammo is the perfect choice when it comes to varmint hunting and can easily take down ground squirrels, critters, and prairie dogs accurately.

22 Hornet ammo is a centerfire rifle cartridge commercially introduced by Winchester in 1930. It is good for varminting, small-game hunting, survival, and competitions. This ammo is better than 22 WMR and 17 HMR in terms of power and weight. It is manufactured by almost all popular manufacturers and is available in weights ranging from 35 grain to 55 grain. The muzzle velocity of this ammo ranges from 2500 to 3100 feet per second while muzzle energy is over 600 ft. lbf. The muzzle energy and velocity of this ammo will be reduced considerably when fired from short-barreled firearms. 22 Hornet Ammo Specification: Bullet diameter: .224 Neck diameter: 6.2 mm (.243 in) Shoulder diameter: 7.0 mm (.276 in) Base diameter: 7.6 mm (.298 in) Rim diameter: 8.9 mm (.350 in) Rim thickness: 1.7 mm (.065 in) Case length: 35.6 mm (1.403 in) Rifling twist: 1-14 Primer type: small rifle 45 grain soft point rounds are manufactured by Winchester and Remington with velocities of 2690 fps.
