CVA Accura VS CVA Optima

Built for hunting open country, CVA's Accura PR (Plains Rifle) Muzzleloader delivers exceptional performance and accuracy at long distances. Its ultralight design is perfectly balanced for easy handling. Premium 28" fluted 416 stainless steel Bergara barrel resists corrosion, while a bullet-guiding muzzle enhances long-range accuracy. Nitride-treated barrel surfaces are guaranteed against rust pitting. Hardened inside and out, they will not chip, peel or scratch. Quick-Release Breech Plug (QRBP) easily removes by hand, even after repeated firings. Neutral-center-of-gravity trigger design for a crisp, clean pull. Trigger is adjustable from 3 to 4.75 lbs. Ambidextrous synthetic stock with a soft-touch finish and rubber grip panels ensure slip-free, quiet handling. Reversible cocking spur.

Modeled after CVA’s top-of-the-line ACCURA® V2, OPTIMA rifles feature the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever, internal parts, and trigger. All Optima V2 rifle models featured in the CVA catalog and on the CVA website feature stainless steel or Nitride-treated stainless steel barrels. Add in CVA’s Quick-Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable), 100% ambidextrous stock, and a CrushZone® recoil pad, and you’ve got a gun with more quality features than any other muzzleloading rifle in its price range. Equipped with a 28” barrel, the OPTIMA V2 is easy to maneuver in the treestand and comfortable to carry in the mountains.
