Anschutz 1780 D FL German Stock Description
This bolt action rifle with cam cocking is used in ANSCHTZ centerfire rifles. Smooth action permits rapid and reliable functioning, a well-known factor in the ANSCHTZ biathlon rifles. The one-piece firing pin has a defined end stop area to prevent damage from dry firing. Lock up is made by a two-row, six-lug bolt (2x3) directly to the barrel; allowing a quick, short 60 bolt throw. The matt black anodized receiver, made of high-strength aluminum alloy, incorporates the ANSCHTZ Wave Style and is drilled and tapped for mounting telescopic sights. The cocking mechanism has gas vent holes which, in the event of cartridge failure, direct the gas safely to the side. The sliding safety catch on the right hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position. The ergonomically designed safety catch is easily and silently operated. The integrated bolt handle lock reliably prevents inadvertent opening of the bolt when carrying the firearm. Laterally adjustable rear sight with three inset yellow target dots. Red plastic front sight on non-dazzle matt front sight base. Studs, sling swivels in delivery boxTechnical Data
