Super ACCURATE!!! 1st shot out the box hit the center line of the cross on the bullseye at 7 yds. Next, I shot a 5 shot group at 25 yds = 3 1/2" with Underwood 200gr Extreme Penetrators. Came back in the house & cleaned ...the gun. I'm done!!! 6 shots total to sight the gun in. Pretty impressive, I'd say!!! Didn't even have to adjust the sights.Well balanced & not bad on recoil. I was expecting more on the recoil end. Easy to field strip but a little trickier on the reassemble. By far, the best priced 1911 45acp on the market & super accurate. In my opinion, this ATI Military 1911 will shoot just as accurate as any high dollar 1911 out there, just for a whole lot less to buy. The ATI Military 1911's are made in the Philippine's & they are our Allies. I always try to buy American 1st, then our Allie's. Well built, balanced perfect & definitely an accurate shooter. 5 star for me!!! Thanks ATI, well done! more

This gun is just AMAZING.. the way its feels in your hand, and how it shoots is fascinating. Is comfy even to carry. I shoot closed to 100 federal rounds and it was flawless, of course you have to clean the gun completel...y before you take it to the range as always. Over all this gun will meet your expectations. more

    solid pistol
I have put a lot of 230 grain steel cased ammo thru this gun. I did have an issue with the mag that came with the pistol and ended up getting a new one. Overall it has performed very well.

Shoots like a dream. Very little kick. Only problem racking the first shell into the chamber it wanted to jam. Put only a full clip through it. Hoping it doesn't repeat the jam. Love her ;-)

You would think it's the Springfield 1911-great piece of craftsmanship. Can't beat it for the price. Glad I purchased it.

When I first purchased there were questions about magazines.....chip McCormick work extremely well as well as mec-gar, no problem...Pro-mag was a problem as being too tight. Check you mag well to make sure grip screw ret...ainers don't go through and hit your mag. Scrape marks on sides will show up. I had to file these flush on both ATI 45 acp. The same problem exists with Colt and that's how I know. The ramp seems too good to modify...I'll know after shooting 185gr. HPs. Have fun and enjoy. I am....... more

This gun is truly worth every penny and I'm so thankful I went with it. Purchased it on 5/18/18 and picked it up yesterday at my local gun shop. Went and put 50 rounds through it today and not a single issue. Great trigg...er pull and dead accurate. At 10 yards I had all 8 rounds within a half dollar. Not to bad for GI sights. more

The ATI FX Military 1911 is exactly what I expected. Solid and Accurate. I will suggest replacing the Recoil Spring and Extractor to anyone who purchase this firearm. Think of it as an upgrade instead of a fix for any pr...oblem. I have had no issue with this Classic Firearm design. The first one I bought was so good, I had to buy a second. I would buy another but I only have two hands. more

My example came in with a trigger pull well under 4 lbs, and after some feeding issues in the first 50 rounds it has become quite reliable. The grips are a bit odd... being far thicker than the normal 1911 grips, but I'v...e come to prefer the extra width. I did try standard grips... but found that I like the factory ones better. Between the grips and delightful trigger, I find I shoot this thing better than any 1911 I've tried. Better, in fact, than any center-fire pistol in my experience... more

Well made in the Philippines, no tool or grind marks, nicely finished in dark gray Parkerizing. Manufactured to Pre-Series 70 standards, so good trigger pull with no lawyer mandated firing pin block; has aluminum trigger... and steel mainspring housing instead of the PLASTIC that Colt is putting on all their late manufactured product. Experienced three failures to go into battery with S&B 230gn .45 ACP Ball (also from SG) in the first 100 rounds. Replaced factory 16lb recoil spring with a Wilson 22lb recoil spring and the weapon hasn't missed a lick since. Weapon shoots to exact point of aim at 3, 7, and 15 yards - shot 248/250 on the Texas CHL silhouette (the two I dropped were my fault, not the gun's). Factory supplied magazine with extended floorplate not strictly authentic, but it fit and fed just fine. Purchased six Kimber GI style magazines (also from SG) and they all functioned flawlessly. If you're looking for an excellent recreation of the Plain Jane WWII-style 1911A1 that's also a heck of a shooter, then this is the one for you. more

Well machined and made to 1968 Government Colt standards. Heavy when loaded but nicely balanced when fired. I have wanted a basic fixed sights 1911 for awhile.

Pistol was received in good condition, transaction was quick and efficient. Pistol did have a few tool marks nothing major. Very oily and the barrel was filthy, you will need to clean thoroughly before first use. Fired 1...00 standard FMJ 230 gr Federal cartridges, no failures of any kind. Very pleasantly surprised by accuracy and limited recoil, dead on at about 25 feet. Quality of pistol very good, very tight fit and finish, a tremendous value at this price point! more

Just what I was looking for-a bare bone 1911A1, the gun looks great and shoots very well. The only thing I did not like was when I opened the case for the first time and looked down the barrel the fouling that was in it ...was more than you would expect for a new gun just being test fired, I guess they tested it with cheap ammo and lead shot. I brought it home and spent about an hour taking it apart and cleaning (most of that time was removing the fouling out of the barrel). Very tight ,very well made and shoots great, no problems except they did not clean it before packing it from the factory , at lease now I know it was clean and oiled before I shot it . If you get one you will be pleased with it , just clean it before shooting!!! more

Great product. Fit and finish are very good. Have put 200 rounds through it without a single issue. Accuracy is great.

Quality of pistol very good, very tight fit and finish, a tremendous value at this price point! more

I have owned several 1911's over the years and this one may be my favorite. The performance is excellent and the balance is near perfect.

  • ATI M1911 Delivered! (HD)
The ATI M1911 It is with a hammer bet the gun. This fancy shiny stainless steel one with the fancy beaver tail and all the stuff. It's attractive because about a basic and non dressed up. This ia very basic pistol there'...s no fancy beaver tail this just the regular grip safety that comes standard on any of those 1911's. The hammer is just a regular panel hammer and there's nothing fancy about that just a regular panel hammer, regular Gl ml, Terry serrations back and expect on the standard-issue a small tactical imports logo. The grips are just mahogany checkered but not Double Diamond fare the standard magazine releases. Expect it the hammer is not a skeletonized hammer. It's just the traditional hammer and it's got a very small safety though. It is very nicely working safety, its easy to engage and disengage trigger the fire finger is very nice. It is about 5 or 6 pound trigger pull. more

  • American Tactical M1911 GI. Is it any good?
ATI Firepower Xtreme 1911 It's a single stack and one holds eight rounds and realistically. Haven't had any issue at all with it running no failure to eject, no failure to feed, It's literally been perfect right out of t...he box and it come with the eight round magazine. The leather holster is doing a pretty good job at taking the finish off the corners of the slide, the rear sight is also beginning to lose. more

This ATI Firepower Xtreme 1911 is a steel This gun it is quite oily going to wipe. This obviously is their Gl style model will show clear and take a look around the gun, great Jackson have an act mag 8 round with witness... windows (blue) and the chamber is clear. The muzzle is nicely blue rather handsome gun nice rich colors, traditional bushing front. The American tactical emanating 11 military labeling, it's strong but not billboard. The frame is made in the Philippines which is probably a good indicator. The front strap nice and smooth like brown and wanted if these these grips. more
