Great gun!! Can't wait to "pimp it out" with optics etc! Ran 150 rounds thru it with no issues! Not a big fan of the rear peep sight but I'm adding optics anyway so not much of an issue. First time buyer at Buds and I would definately do it again!! ...more
Just want to thank bud great price and fast shipping. I been looking for this gun for several months. finally found it a buds. this beretta fell like a very well made gun . Went to the range yesterday, very impressed threw a cheap red dot I had on it. At 30 yards 1/2 inch groups. put 200 rounds threw it no problem so far, love this gun . ...more
Gun 5 stars, buds 4.9 stars! if you own this weapon and the hi-point 995Ts you can have the most fun a person should be allowed to legally have :))) agree with earlier post, the hi-point does not have the greatest magazine lock, BUT all that aside you'll love one and they have fantastic warranty and service. The beretta CX4 when teamed with your beretta pistol gives you one of the best SHTF combos you could ask for as you only have to have 1 magazine style/ and round type. this is my second one of these and still cannot say anything bad after 3,000+ rounds, weapon is lightweight, and easy to field strip and clean, spot-on @ 25 out of the box. I have shot the keltec 9mm and find this a far superior weapon (save your coin, just buy a hi-point)... if your looking to spend a reasonable amount of $$ on a real weapon do not hesitate to buy the CX4, I made that mistake once and had to wait until they came back into stock as beretta has a habit of discontinuing these for export due to sluggish sales! only gripe with buds is when you pay by check, expect a delay, even though my bank transferred the funds out within minutes it took buds the full 5 working days to process :( ...more
fast shipping! great! smooth transaction with buds! Received the rifle in perfect condition! Rifle is accurate! was able to hit the bulls eye in my first couple of shots! Rifle is lightweight, no shaky sound inside like some says, everything is intact! Very good home defence carbine! very easy to handle! ...more
Imagine a Hi-Point 995 carbine with hi-capacity magazines, proper fit and finish, and reliable magazine changes. If you do that you have the Beretta CX-4 Storm. I can now say that I have owned both. I put 3,000 plus rounds through my Hi-Point. It never malfunctioned. It shot straight. It was a lot of fun. The problem is, that gun would never be anything more than a range gun to me. The fit of the magazines in the magazine well prevented confident magazine changes. I would never have trusted my life to the Hi-Point because you weren't really sure if the magazine was seated until you pulled the trigger. I put 300 rounds through the CX-4 Storm today. There were no malfunctions. It shot straight. It was a lot of fun. It also had very positive magazine changes. I would trust my life to this firearm. It also has the added bonuses of easier takedown, better looks, and available hi-capacity magazines. Is the CX-4 worth the extra $400 over a Hi-Point? If you just want a range gun it's not worth it. If you want a defensive carbine that works with Beretta hand gun magazines, then yes it's worth it. ...more
The gun is great, third and most likely last gun from Buds. Before I even got the gun the price drop $30.00, also description and detail specs don't match other vendors. Too much research to get basic info on other sites. Any other vendor would give you a credit if the price drops less than a week after you bought it. Bye Buds ...more
My first purchase from Bud's and the entire process went smoothly. I'll definitely be buying from Bud's again. The Beretta CX4 is a great gun. It's a sweet shooter and feels natural plus it can interchange magazines with my PX4. Plus it doesn't hurt that it's one of the best-looking 9mm carbines made today. This is actually my second CX4, but it's every bit as good as the first one. After nearly 500 years of making firearms, Beretta seems to really have it down pat. I would recommend the CX4 to anyone wanting a good, small carbine for sport or home defense. And I would recommend Bud's to anyone seeking great service and good prices. ...more
