    very disappointed by this gun...
...bought the nano in 2016, this gun still have major problems with Fail To Eject... do your homework... read all the reviews... after more than 600 rounds with all king of ammo 115 to 147 grain this gun is a big loser...... I wanted to like this gun but It is not worth it... save yourself time and money and buy something else... what good is it to you if it fails when you need it?... what do you do in real life situation if it fails to work?... more

    Stiff Recoil Spring
Got this about a year after they came out. I bought 115gr ball ammo from fiochi, federal, winchester etc brass case ammo. Had a failure to eject problem like 1 in 5 rounds. The empty would be stuck in the chamber with th...e next round forced against it by the slide. I shot like 200rds over 2-3 range sessions with the same problem. I sent this back to Beretta. They replaced the extractor and I recieved it about 6 weeks later. I went shooting again with the same sort of ammo. This time I had about a 10% failure to eject issue. I figured the recoil spring was too firm so I stuck it in the safe with the slide locked for at least a couple months. Since then its been shot 400 times with no malfunctions. I like the ergonomics and size of this pistol for EDC. With the 6 rnd magazine it easily fits in jean front pockets and has an extended 8 rnd as well. Trigger pull is long but smooth. Gun groups nearly as well as my fullsize pistol at 20 yds in slow fire. The long trigger pull is a little bit of a hinderance for fast accurate shooting. I consider this a good ccw since it started being reliable. Pistol is more easily concealed than most of its competition. more

    Terrible Jamming Gun
Started to jam from moment I bought it. Tried different ammo but it did not matter. I sent it back to Berretta. They said they replaced ejector but it still jams ever 20 rounds or so.

    Little Jamming Machine
This gun jams constantly. I have spoken to others who own the gun and say the same thing. They sent theirs back to Baretta for rework. I have sent mine back. Worst gun I ever bought. Let's see if Baretta can fix it.

    Beware of expensive ammo
I bought this gun not knowing it needed 124 grain or higher to perform. I put 300 rounds of federal and Winchester 115 grain and experienced a lot of jams, about 1 in 12. I was very upset with the pistol until I did my r...esearch online to see what the issue was. The owners manual doesn't mention that 115 grain will cause failure to eject or that you need to use a higher grain bullet. Beware the 124 grain and up bullets are high, not what you want to target shoot with. more

    Best Gun for a Lady!
Ladies , take heed to this powerful pocket pistol. I have fired 500+ rounds down this little beauty and she is as reliable as time itself. No external safety or hammer triggers so it will not snag in your purse. It has a...n internal safety, so the trigger pull is longer than most BUT do you really want a hair trigger gun in your holster or purse?? more

One of the best 9mm out there
Have purchased several pistols over the years, but my favorite is the Beretta Nano 9mm. The light weight, balance and size are it's advantages. I originally purchased as CCL weapon, but have found it has been the best, i...n accuracy, than my other 9mm. Another plus is the easy breakdown for cleaning. I found the Beretta website easy to navigate, provides accurate and timely delivery of purchases. Purchase of accessories are easily found and competitively priced. more

    Beretta Nano BU9
Super sleek design with great handling. My wife loves shooting it. Best concealed weapon I own. I would recommend this gun to anyone. I have run multiple brands and grain through it and have never jammed or rejected a bu...llet. Probably 1000 rounds through it. I strongly recommend this weapon to anyone looking for a nice concealed carry weapon! more

    Love It!
Purchased the Nano just over a month now. Super fun to shoot. Make sure you get 124 grain rounds or heavier, the 115 grain will FTE. Also it is great that they include the extended magazine the 6 round clip is more diffi...cult to shoot with but not impossible. more

Very picky on ammo. Feels sloppy in your hand. I have over 30 hand guns. This is my least favorite! Can't depend on it. Rarely make it through a full clip with out jamming.

    clean design
not disappointed...this gun is a blast to shoot,I have it set up as shown with the laser....takes a little getting used to with the long trigger draw but easy to shoot and take apart to clean....the reason I bought this ...gun was to carry, and what made me choose it was how clean it is...I have another great gun to carry but it doesn`t pull as clean as the Nano, there`s nothing to catch or snag, and with the safety on the trigger it`s ready to go instantly when every second counts...I have big hands and the fit is comfortable with the extended magazine...with the affordable price it`s worth a try..very happy with my Nano :-) more

    Still my favorite CCW
UPDATE! I've had my Nano for over a year and I love it even more every time I fire it. I've never had a malfunction of any type. However, a few months ago, I ran two mags through it and then let a novice shooter try it. ...She limp-wristed it causing a FTE. I cleared it for her and coached her on her grip. She went on to shoot 2 mags problem-free. Problem solved. Bottom line: don't limp-wrist! It is a cinch to field strip. All you need is a coin or flat head screwdriver--even a 9mm casing will do--turn the take down lever and the slide comes right off. As small as the Nano is, I think it is fun to shoot--unlike many others in its class. I rate the Nano very highly in all categories: comfort, accuracy, concealability, reliability, value, accessory availability, etc. I trust the Nano with my life. more

I like shooting a Spring field XDM 4.5 inch barrel, doesn't matter 9, 40, or 45. I thought a CC pistol would be better for carrying. I'm Quite disappointed with this gun. Phase II (live Fire) Evaluation
1st trip to the range. I assembled a collection of assorted ball and JHP ammo to test the Nano. I fired about 200 rds of assorted ball to settle it in. Ran flawlessly. Shot point of aim in the 3-15 Yd range. Shot about 1...0" high at 25 Yds. This is not a 25 Yd gun. The trigger is stiff, but in the range it is design for, it is a non-issue. The 124gr Remington Golden Saber was a point of aim/point of impact "death ray" out of the Nano. Ran 100%. That will be my carry load. Recoil was mild, even with the 110gr +P+ (shot sparingly as a point of comparison only). Comfortable to shoot too. My hands did not develop any "hot spot" during the firing of about 300 rds. The trigger is the only item worthy of a demerit. It has an outstanding reset, but it stiff. If you want to shoot small objects at 25+ yds, keep looking. If you want a reliable compact pistol to repel deadly goblins from 15 yds and in, you will be happy.. Be Safe more

    Phase I of Evaluation
Just received my Nano. The fit and finish is superb. I inspected it inside and out. Not a leftover tool mark to be found. Even the the breach-face is cleanly finished. I did a quick wipe down, swabbed the bore and added ...a bit of CLP to the moving parts (later applied some dry lube to the striker). The trigger is very firm. A good 10-12 lbs in my estimation. Heavy but consistent with a short./firm reset. The length of the trigger stroke is short and comfortable. Cleaning the factory lube off the striker assemble and adding a bit of dry lubricant smoothed it up a bit too. The trigger is acceptable for a pistol intended to be used at very short range. The standard sights are low profile and all METAL !!!!! The sight picture (during dry fire) is a useable 3-dot design. I added the night sights . Spending about 25% of the cost of the pistol just to add night sights is debatable, but I will take any edge I can if I am forced to face armed goblins in the dark of night. Pistol come with a 6rd and extended 8rd magazine. The base plate of the 6rd feels flimsy and sticks out in such a way that it digs into my love handle if carried in an open top belt pouch. Will reserve final comment on the base plate until after in had take a few trips to the deck during speed loads. The 8rd has a much more solid feel and adds another finger to the firing grip when in the pistol. Down side is the 8rd adds length to the grip frame causing it to print through shirts. It was still nice to see Beretta "borrow" what Kahr has been doing for years by offering the standard magazine to be carried in the pistol and and extended magazine to be carried as a reload. Will provide additional info on how it runs as soon as I get a few hundred rounds down range. more

    Oustanding CCW
This is an exceptional little pistol. The striker-fired Nano is very accurate and dependable. I shot my Nano and my wife's LC9 back-to-back and I was considerably better with the Nano. She loves her LC9, so that works ou...t nicely. The Nano will compete with my LCP as my primary pocket pistol. The Nano conceals well in a pant or jacket pocket. There are several concealment options for the Nano--find the one that is right for you. I am very confident in my Nano. Keep up the great work, Beretta! more

    magazine drop?
My Nano has 300 rounds through it now and only one magazine has had an FTE, in fact two. They went together probably because i loaded the magazine wrong? Huh? I had to use all three hands to hold the slide open and push ...the emerging round back down the inserted magazine. Well, I think it was my fault because the ammo was Speer Lawman 147 grain. (About rounds 110-115 out of 300.) The other kinds of ammo were 115 or 124 or 147 grain and caused no problems at all. All were FMJ rounds. more

    Solid & Dependable
I have read many reviews from all around about the Beretta Nano. Those, mostly positive, reviews are one of the many reasons for choosing it. Great gun
I bought this gun for a ccw and love it. This gun is small and shoots great, like others have said you have to use 124 grain ammo, I used 115 and it had problems reloading. After using 124 there have been no issues. Also... I put grip tape on it due to having large hands, now the grouping is great. If you are thinking about getting a sub compact 9mm go buy it. more

    Berretta Nano
OK let's be honest here folks.... just like one other person reviewed, this gun was designed for CC and some of you keep talking about the low end range ammo having FTE. UUUMMM do any of you read reviews on items before buy them? EVERY review board i looked at regarding this weapon states that some cheap grade 115 grain ammo will cause FTE....with that being said, it's simple: if you want this to be a reliable weapon then shot a higher grain ammo and you will quickly be impressed! I have passed well over 600 rounds through my Nano so far using 124 grain FMJ and JHP and guess what? NOT A SINGLE FTE...the gun works flawlessly!!! EVERYTIME! so in a nutshell: Use 124 grain for target ammo and self defense and you will be just fine!! more

Beretta 9mm Nano Micro Compact Redefines CCW
Beretta really nailed this 9mm micro compact carry! It's under 1" in width, sporting a 3" barrel. It's extremely accurate & what's better, for such a shorty, recoil is surprisingly soft, permitting a faster... target re-acquisition. This is a striker fire semi & as most, uses a DAO trigger. Even with a normal, longer DAO pull, it's still spot on & gives a solid firing. Fits Perfect & Hits Perfect! more

    Beretta NANO 9
I am a small framed person and it is hard to conceal a large frame pistol. I saw the Beretta and it looked more to my size. When I first shot it, it worked fine on the UMC ammo but then it jammed. I started using RT9115 ...which is a little hotter load and no problems with it jamming. I did buy a rubber grip for it because you can only hold it with 2 fingers on the grip. It gave me more feel of control of the pistol. The recoil isn't as bad as I thought it would be even with using hotter loads. Have shot it 7 yards with no problems. Easy to break down and clean. Will get another one when my wife is ready to take the class for conceal and carry. Have already told others about the NANO 9! more

    Beretta Nano
I purchased the Beretta Nano as my CCW. It is a great, accurate little shooter. I have no complaints, other than I feel it is a little too big for pocket carry. However, it is excellent for IWB.So far, I have put 150 rou...nds of Winchester 115 Grain FMJ, 50 rounds of Blazer 125 Grain FMJ and 12 rounds of Fiocchi Extrema 147 Grain JHP. 212 rounds and it has worked flawlessly. 0 FTE's.I recommend it to anyone who is looking for powerful, concealable, protection. more

    Perfect defensive handgun
The Nano is very easy to conceal, but shoots like a much larger pistol. I was surprised at how little muzzle rise there is. I've shot larger sub-compact pistols that were heavier but had more felt recoil. The trigger pul...l is long, as is the norm with striker-fired guns, but it feels light and is very crisp. So far I've not had a single failure of any kind, with a variety of ammunition, and this little gem is much more accurate than it needs to be. more

    Not My Favorite
I purchased the Nano for it's size. Mine is quite picky with ammo. The trigger is so heavy it is hard not to pull to the right when shooting. Due to the short grip it feels clumsy in your hand. So with that said it fits ...a purpose in an emergency. But I would not depend on it. more

    Beretta Nano - Issues
Shot over 300 rounds of various makes of inexpensive 115-grain ammo - 6 failures to extract. No problems with Blazer aluminum case & heavier ammo. FTE's more difficult to resolve since this handgun has no slide lock....Overall feels good in the hand, recoil very manageable, accurate, fun to shoot, quick followup shots.Note: Many "reviews" mention 17+ ounce weight (per Beretta website) - but actual weight is 20+ ounces empty (same as a baby Glock - clunkier, but which has more capacity).Perhaps too heavy for pocket carry - ? reliability for personal defense. Will try different ammo. more

    It Serves Its Purpose
Let's start with what the Nano is. It is a easily concealable 9mm that is made for the CC market. It's slim line and nothing to catch during a concealed draw, make it a solid choice for consideration in this market.

    Beretta nano review
Brand new out of the box the gun failed to extract Winchester target ammo about every 4th round. When the gun failed to extract the magazine continued to try to load a new round into the chamber. I thought it might have ...been due to maybe using new magazines so I loaded them with only 3-4 rounds each and it didn't make a difference. No failures to extract using Hornady zombie ammo though. Gave me hesitations about reliability. more

    Wouldn't Trust It
I bought one of these for $300. It was nice and seemed to fit the bill of a great CCW. Purchased an IWB Foxx holster for it and thought I was ready to take it to the range and try it out. I brought several different type...s of ammo with my (Win white box 115gr, Win white box 124, Federal range, and Hydroshocks). I'm a bit OCD when it comes to gun "hygiene", and it was freshly cleaned and lubed. No matter what type of ammo I loaded, it always jammed (FTE). I'm not a novice by any means, but it just wouldn't work. I took it home, and listed it for sale. For the same price point, get a S&W Shield. I have 2 Shields (Thanks for the deals, Palmetto!), Ruger LC9s, and a Glock 42 & 43. All 4 of which are in my current EDC collection. Save your money and the headache. more

    Love my Beretta!
I bought this Beretta Nano after doing some reading about it, including a review by a woman sportswriter who thought it was a good weapon for a woman. The rebate clinched it for me.PSA shipped it in record time, and my F...FL showed me how to disassemble it and clean it. I was amazed at how simple it is to take apart. I came home and promptly shot 100 rounds through it. No recoil to speak of. I think it is a perfect gun for a woman. Fits perfectly in my hand using the 6 or the 8 mag. The slide is easier to pull back than my Glock 42. I have no problems with the trigger seems fine to me. I am thrilled with this purchase! more

    Great gun. Not fabulous.
Let's face it. There are "better" single stack guns on the market in terms of trigger pull bore axis and aftermarket support. But if you can get passed the long heavy trigger and full release reset. You'...;ll find this pistol is extremely low recoiling for it's size and quite accurate to boot. I find it odd that the sights are easier to remove and replace than the grip frames. But it's not impossible. And for being only 5'7" and weighing 155 pounds this pistol fits in my pocket quite well (even with a good pocket holster). Definitely not a "go to war" gun.... But it's still a "get home safe" gun. more

  • Gun Review: Beretta Nano [Updated 2018]
It’s curvier than a GLOCK, has clean lines, and roll-marked lettering. It’s sexy in a “tactical practical” kinda way.Small, light, non-reflective, and snag free—ideal features for a CCW pistol.“Comfortable h...eft” makes it a pleasant shooter. It loses a star for the two finger grip, and another for that long, crunchy trigger pull. The non-serialized grip frame opens the door wide for customized grips. The easily interchangeable sights make the Nano a personalized package just waiting to be assembled. more

  • Beretta Nano 9mm Review 2018: Small Gun, Big Heart
As the smallest .380 ACP on the market, the Pico is freaking tiny. At only 18mm wide, it’s way too small for my hands – and light as a feather. However, in terms of its construct, it’s actually not such a bad handg...un. It’s pretty easy to use, has low recoil, and is surprisingly durable. It’s also super easy to take apart and clean like the Nano. more

  • [FIREARM REVIEW] Beretta Nano 9mm Review for Concealed Carry
Much like a Glock, the Nano sports internal safeties instead of external (except for the trigger safety, very similar to the Glock trigger safety). It is designed, like any other modern firearm, to only fire when the tri...gger is pulled. Some people will only carry firearms with an external safety that they can visually inspect to ensure that it’s ‘safe’. If this is something that you look for, the Nano may not be for you. It’s the same reason you don’t own a Glock. The Nano factory sights are a pretty standard 3-dot system. They can be adjusted with the provided hex wrench, or better yet replace them with better sights. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive and compact 9mm for concealed carry, this may be the firearm you’re looking for. If you are brand new to shooting, the fact that it has no slide release shouldn’t be much of an issue for you. On the other hand, if you are familiar with firearms and used to that slide release, this will probably take some getting used to. more

  • Beretta® BU9 Nano Review | Is This the Best Concealed Carry 9mm?
The design is ergonomic and very smooth to prevent snagging on your handgun holster or your clothing. As far as firearms go, it is a very customizable handgun. It comes with a serialized chassis and modular design that a...llows you to easily swap out different parts. For example, you can easily switch polymer grip frames for frames of another color or adjust the 3-dot sights and Beretta® Nano accessories without needing to be a gunsmith. This Beretta® 9mm pistol comes with a flush bottom magazine with a capacity of 6 rounds (for easy concealed carry purposes), but an 8-round capacity extended magazine is also available from the manufacturer to lengthen the grip by one inch as well. There is a reversible magazine release button near the trigger. The Beretta® Nano safety features include a striker deactivation button, which allows you to disassemble the handgun without having to pull the trigger. more
