Love this gun. Saw a review above from a guy that has owned "several guns, more than 6", dude 6 guns is a rookie, I have owned hundreds of guns and this is NOT a poor quality gun. The PX4 Storm is a top 10 semi.

I like PX4 so much I have 40 cal 2 full size, 3 compact and 1 sub compact. Most reliable and ease to clean. I also like safety and decoking mechanism. I would like recommend subcompact. there is hardly a difference in we...ight and size difference between subcompact and compact. more

I have owned several (over 6) hand guns. This one is rated by far the worst. I initially love the feel ( I own the the storm carbine) in my hand. Problem I found when I recently went to clean it: Recoil Spring GD Assembl...y, PX4 broke! Like a cheap piece of plastic that it is, it broke. The piece that is just under the barrel at the mussle end scheared off in my hand. It is a cheap little clip deal that holds the flat end piece and spring together. I am ordering a new one now, and will off load this plastic toy to replace it with a METAL pistol. Lesson learned here. Would hate to have it fail me out there (ex-mil, ex-cop). Duty gun was the 92F in .9mm (loved that pistol). more

I enjoyed shooting this pistol. The price was right, it breaks down easier. I love that the hammer safety removed the firing pin so that it is totally safe. The only detraction that I would right is that it is slow for f...ast firing. One must allow the trigger to move almost fullly forward after each shot and wait for the reset. If I could get rid of that one flaw I would consider this essentially perfect. more

and, I've owned a bunch of handguns over my 76 years. Due to poor health I sold ALL of my collection (35 handguns) 2 years ago. That included my PX4 9mm full size. Big Mistake! So now I'm still old but, my health is bett...er, and I'm in the market for a one and only pistol. It will be the PX4 Storm Compact, and this time I'll take it to my grave. Of course I hope to shoot it allot before I go there. more

I've owned about 50 different pistols and this one is in my top 3. I own the PX4 in.45 caliber. Very accurate, Light way for a full size. Love the gun!

This pistol is a pleasure to shoot and is extremely accurate. I have not had a single issue after a few thousand rounds. Recoiled is less than my other Beretta 40sw! And much more accurate. High cap man is a plus.

This is a nice, reliable, accurate weapons system. It hits what you aim at. Nice weight, very accurate, good trigger pull. Ergonomic, decocker, ambidextrous safety and comes with choice of 3 backstraps, high capacity mag...azine. Its a little on the wide/bulky side for concealed carry, although I carry IWB in a Crossbreed comfortably all day. Very easy to strip and maintain without any pins or tools required. I would definiteloy recommend this pistol more

I have owned a full-size PX4 in 9mm for almost two years. It is the only pistol that I have ever fired that has never jammed, FTE'd or had a problem with any kind of ammo. The trigger action is smooth, and the backstrap ...inserts were great for me (I have fairly large hands). My impression of the recoil is that the rotating cam on the barrel minimized the muzzle flip giving you better second shots and re-acquisition of target much faster. The tradeoff is that instead of flipping the muzzle up, that force is directed backwards at the shooter. Once you get used to it, I found that I could comfortably put far more rounds through the PX4 than any other gun on the range. Easy to clean and strip, and even a full dissassembly of the upper for a thorough cleaning/maintenance is not that difficult. more

This is my primary home defense gun. My PX4 is a full size .40 cal and is highly accurate. The recoil is minimal and even my girlfriend enjoys shooting it. Very easy to field strip and reassemble. I would recommend it to... anyone in the market for a semi-automatic pistol. more

Loved shooting this pistol, it looks and feels terrific, the only flaw (mostly personal preferance) would be the sights, I like the sights on the glock, but this gun feels much better in my hand. No negitive comments to ...make more
