UPPER RECEIVER: Precision CNC machined and trued from billet 7075-T7 aluminum, Built-in 20 MOA 1913 Picatinny top rail section, slick-side style, absent of forwarding assist and brass deflector and machined for the dust cover. All aluminum upperparts are Type III, hard coat anodized, in black. Barrel: Chrome Moly steel, 1:10 twist rate, 16 heavy profile, chambered in .308 WIN *, phosphate coated for durability. Gas System: Direct impingement, Phoenix Weaponry designed and built, light-weight, ultra-low profile, stainless steel gas block, carbine length. Handguard: Phoenix Weaponry designed and CNC built, 15, lightweight, free-floating, modular handguard. Precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Additionally, Phoenix manufactured Picatinny rail sections, hand stops, and quick release sling mounts that can be added or removed at 45-degree increments around the handguard and along the entire 15 length of the tube. Proprietary stainless steel barrel nut with screw lock mounting system for increased stability and strength. Muzzle Device: Phoenix Weaponry Penetrator flash hider, CNC machined from 4130 chrome-moly steel and hardened to 48 Rockwell standard, black oxide coated. E. Bolt Carrier Group: DPMS style, MP tested, chrome-lined, properly staked gas key. LOWER RECEIVER: Precision CNC machined and trued from billet 7075-T7 aluminum. The magazine well is heavily flared for ease of magazine changes. Accepts all SR-25/M110/LR-308 magazines including all generations of Magpul polymer magazines.
