Browning Citori 725: Guns & Gear|S4

The Browning Citori 725 great gun the engine Goldman and the barrel for the most part choke tube design in vertor cluster finish exactly. The 725 is a totally new system and another benefit of mechanical triggers is a little more enhanced trigger a little cleaner trigger. It took almost an eight of an inch out of the bottom of that receiver. The closer to the bore centerline it bring it makes one with the gun its a little racier system a sleek slender racy good put it the shoulder it feels good this is the hunter version. Mainly have different choke tubes that come with it in the sporting clays gun have a backboard barrel like this has also have a longer barrel out to 32 inches. ...more

Review: Browning Citori CXS Over-Under

On the range and in the field, the new CXS performed as billed. It handled great, swung smoothly, and never malfunctioned. The ejectors chucked empties out with authority, and the trigger pulls were excellent. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces, it was a delight to carry, yet it didn’t kick my hat off. I think the Citori CXS is a versatile and specialized evolution of the classic Browning over-under. ...more

Shotgun Review: Browning Citori 725

the Citori 725 has machine-cut checkering that wraps around the grip without any distortion and roll stamp engraving on the receiver, showing a pair of pheasants on one side and ducks on the other both nestled amid a border of scrolls. The engraving is simple, but not striking, and isn't likely to offend nor give any real pleasure to the beholder. As we've come to expect on Browning shotguns the hunting style trigger is gold plated. The walnut stock on my sample had deep, rich figure in it and the blacking on the barrels, which are joined by solid ribs on either side, was smooth and even. The top rib has a two-bead design, both of which are solid white, that's simple and functional. ...more

Browning Citori, Good Over and Under or Not? Please Help!

Yes, the Citori's are very good guns. In fact, It was say great guns. Not much difference between the models except for cosmetics. You will not regret buying the White Lightening. Great gun. If you hunt with it, I think you will like the white lightening better. If you have the blued receiver and it wears off pretty quick if you carry the gun with your hand around the receiver. Barrel length: It just comes down to feel. Once you shoulder the gun and look down it you can't tell which barrel length you are shooting. The automatic has a longer receiver than the O/U, so your 26" auto barrel length will more closely match the overall length of the 28" barrel on the O/U. But weight and balance wise, I think the 26 inch barrels on the O/U will very likely balance the same as your auto, and the 28" barrels will feel muzzle heavy a little. The modern trend is to longer barrels. If you shoot a 26" barreled O/U at skeet and hunting and you will be perfectly happy with it. But most people buying a new gun get the 28 now. ...more

Gun Review: The Browning Citori 725

The Citori swings a little smoother and kicks a little less than many similar O/U guns because it weighs a little more, which is a good thing. The Citori will break clays and kill birds with the best of them if it fits the shooter and the shooter knows how to get the job done. In summation I can only say that I regard the Browning Citori to be an excellent O/U shotgun and a good value. ...more
