Browning X-Bolt Features

The Browning X Bolt is a bolt action patterned rifle that is available in a wide variety of setups.  With barrel lengths between 20 and 26 inches, different calibers, and different stocks, the varieties are seemingly endless.  The action is, however, always built with the same precision trigger to ensure that any inaccuracy is due to operator error.

Browning X-Bolt Ballistics

Browning X-Bolt Capacity

The Browning X Bolt is available in almost every caliber that could be used for large game hunting and target shooting.  These rifles typically feed from a 4 or 5 round internal magazine, though they can also be set up to accept AICS pattern magazines which are available as 5 or 10 round options.
In its shortest and lightest configuration, the Browning X Bolt measures a touch over 41 inches long and has an unloaded weight of 6.6 pounds giving it a high power-to-weight ratio without sacrificing accuracy.  These rifles can be set up in traditional stocks making them very easy to carry around in the woods and they can also be set up for competition use without weighing a detrimental number.

Browning X-Bolt Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Browning X Bolt can have stocks made of wood or composite and each have their own checkering and grip texturing, but the ones in traditionally-shaped stocks all have a half-pistol grip contour behind the trigger.  This promotes a better trigger pull.  The bolt handle sits directly over the trigger for an easy transition when manually cycling the action.

Browning X-Bolt Fit & Finish

The Browning X Bolt is made by Miroku Corp. in Japan where machinists and craftsmen truly let the immense pride in their work show in the production quality of their rifles.  All contacting surfaces are honed or polished for smooth performance while outside surfaces are worked to a smooth finish.  With quality match grade ammo, X Bolt rifles are approximately 1 to 1.5 MOA right out of the box.
