Century Arms C93 Features

The Century Arms C93 is a semi-automatic rifle that operates on a roller-delayed blowback action.  This rifle is essentially a one-to-one clone of the HK 93 except it is built with a 16.25 inch barrel to ensure that it meets the legal requirement for a rifle.  The barrel is paired with a fully-hooded front sight and a windage-adjustable diopter rear sight with a 4-position drum that compensates for elevation at 100, 200, 300 and 400 meters.

Century Arms C93 Capacity

The Century Arms C93 is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (.223 Remington) and feeds from HK93 magazines.  The most common magazine size, therein making it standard capacity, holds 30 rounds, however 10, 20 and even 40 round magazines can be found if you are okay with scouring the internet waiting for one or two to eventually pop up.
The C93 has an unloaded weight of 7.5 pounds and measures 36.5 inches long making it just as easy to carry and maneuver with as a typical AR15.  It comes with a carry handle that is mounted to the top of the receiver which gives it a cool cold-war look.  While this is just as easy to carry around as an AR, reloading is absolutely more time consuming and requires more fine  motor skills to reload proficiently.

Century Arms C93 Mobility

Mobility

Century Arms C93 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The C93 handles like a slightly larger MP5 or a slightly smaller G3 with the biggest difference being in the magazine release which is a button-style release that is very difficult to reach without taking most of your hand off of the grip.  There may not be a paddle release, but there IS a charging handle that just begs to be slapped in proper HK fashion.

Century Arms C93 Fit & Finish

The receiver of the C93 is stamped from a single piece of sheet steel that is black phosphate coated to protect it from rust.  It’s covered in weld marks which makes it pretty ugly up close, but it’s incredibly durable.  The handguard, trigger housing and stock are made of a high-strength, fiberglass-reinforced polymer that has a fine granular texture that doesn’t get shiny as it’s hand-worn over time.
