Colt 1911 Presentation Grade Description

The Colt M1911 Pistol has served the U.S. Military with undeniable distinction in every war of the last century. To honor this long and distinguished service, the Colt Custom Shop has created the Presentation Grade 1911 pistols. Keeping with the traditional design, the Presentation Grade pistol is constructed on the original M1911 (O1918) platform and finished in the famous lustrous Royal Colt Blue, or Nickel finish. A Colt Engraver etches 25 percent of the pistols surface (A level coverage), after which the pistol is fitted with smooth ivory grips. No detail is overlooked, from the period correct components to the starburst-pattern grip screws.
