CZ-USA 805 Bren S1 Description

The first civilian-legal form of our 805 Bren is the S1 Pistol, equipped with an 11″ barrel in .223/5.56. Utilizing the ubiquitous STANAG magazine used in the AR-15/M16, the 805’s action is housed in a one-piece aluminum upper receiver with a monolithic Picatinny rail. At the rear of the action is a multipurpose mounting point, fit from the factory with a single-point sling attachment. The addition of our accessory arm brace adapter coupled with the effective factory-equipped two-port brake makes the Bren impressively stable to shoot in pistol form. It shares the same low-profile sights as our Scorpion — an adjustable aperture rear and post front. The CZ 805 Bren S1 Pistol is legally classified by the ATF as a pistol, and is intended by CZ-USA to be used as a pistol. Under current federal law and ATF policy attaching a stock to this pistol – or attaching a device which is then used as a stock or intended to be used as a stock – constitutes the making of a short-barreled rifle which requires registration with ATF and the payment of the applicable tax. Users of the CZ 805 Bren S1 Pistol bear the sole responsibility for ensuring their use of the firearm complies with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.

Have had this for over a year now. I really enjoy shooting it. Even with out the brace it was not hard to control. With a brace its an amazing pistol. The flip up sights are a little stiff to control and the safety is a ...little hard to reach. Those are the only 2 complaints i have about the pistol though. more

An outstanding weapon in all respects. The action is very smooth and cycled flawlessly through 200+ rounds at my local range this weekend. The trigger is light and breaks clean–very unusual for a new gun right out of t...he box. It’s recoil is very light, probably due in part to the factory-installed muzzle break. I wish, however, that CZ had provided the “arm brace adapter,” mentioned in the product description, as the S1 is a little heavy to fire without one. Perhaps the adapter will be available for sale in the near future. more

The 805 Bren is impressive. The craftsmen ship of the upper receiver is remarkable, precise and accurate even as a pistol. One inch 3 three shot groups with open sights at 25 yards, were made right out of the box. This i...s high quality firearm worthy of its historic namesake. Would make an ideal SRB. more

  • CZ USA 805 Bren PS1 Pistol
CZ-USA 805 Bren PS1 this gun comes with 5.56 caliber so to shoot 556 or 223 it does accept the standard AR style mags. It has ambidextrous mag release which good for left-handed and this gun is not a light gun it's 6.7 p...ounds. It's got full aluminum upper, full monolithic upper this all one solid piece upper and this is all a solid metal gun. It's got a diopter style rear sight with four different settings, adjustable front just like used to on the AR. All the features of this gun is very great all in all it's a very nice gun. more

This gun got a four position aperture size on the back and multiple sling points that this reciprocating bolt handle night beat shades from both to both side so you can swap if you like it. It's a piston operation the ma...gazine and the safety are both ambidextrous. This is basically the civilian pistol of our fully auto-military grade machine gun. more

  • Basic Accuracy Testing CZ 805 Bren Pistol
The accuracy of the CZ-USA 805 Bren PS1 in a hundred yards very bad, this pistol is it's very very tough to keep the cross hairs on the target. But if this pistol has a stock this would greatly improve the accuracy even ...with this short barrel it would be far more accurate than it is. more

  • Gun Review: CZ Bren 805 PS1 Pistol
Some very very minor complaints about the gun, but overall this is an excellent firearm. A SCAR without the SCAR price tag, very easy to SBR, and fairly sexy to boot. It ain’t cheap, but quality doesn’t come cheap th...ese days. It has very good ergonomics for a pistol version of a rifle. This is much more comfortable to fire than the Scorpion EVO S3, but not quite as nice as some of the slick tubed AR pistols. more

  • Civilian Bren Light Machinegun – CZ 805 Bren S1 Carbine Full Review
There are so many things that this gun does well, but there is one positive feature of the CZ 805 that is absolutely undeniable: It has a wonderful trigger. The trigger on this gun is the best I have ever felt on a milit...ary rifle. I have no higher praise that I could possibly offer, nor would I want to modify this trigger in any way. ext on my “pros” list would be how solid this gun feels. This is a polymer gun that doesn’t rattle, flex or feel cheap. The fit and finish are just exceptional. The stock can be easily folded by simply depressing one button with your thumb. The length of pull can be adjusted, and when it is, it never rattles or flexes—it simply acts as if it is in the only position it was ever designed to be in. The controls are easy to operate without being sensitive to accidental engagement—a line that can sometimes run thin. I’ve had rifles with controls that were so stiff they could not be manipulated correctly. I’ve had others that would change position or unleash something they should be holding back due to a stiff wind. This gun is exceptionally engineered in this respect. more
