EAA Churchill 812 Description
The EAA Churchill 812 Field over/under superposed 12-gauge shotgun features a cut-down, low-profile engraved steel receiver. Pretty much everything else is standard walnut. Additionally, the 812 Field features a mechanical trigger, auto ejectors, an auto safety, a red tube fiber optic atop the muzzle and finely detailed matte checkering on both the forearm and grip. Of course, there are no magazines, so its capacity is two loads, one per barrel. The 812s length of pull is 14.37" while drop at comb is 1.38" and drop at heel is 2.16". It comes with three extended MC-5 chokes. It has a 28 long matte blued barrel. Overall length is 44.9 while weight is 6.8 pounds. There are also 26 and 30 barrel versions. The upper barrel has a vent rib along its length. Atop is a fiber optic front sight. The silver nitrided receiver is made of steel. The walnut shows beautiful, luxurious and meticulous burls, lines and streaks. The forearm is beautifully sculpted with tumblehome flanks and appealing checkering along the sides and bottom too. Nodding to aesthetics, the checkering has three separate eye-pleasing sections. Naturally, this checkering is matched by the checkering on the two sides of the grip. At back is a rubber recoil pad.The EAA Churchill 812 Field has three sister models. These are the 820, 828 and 836 Field guns, which are 12-gauge, 20-gauge, 28-gauge and .410 bore (aka 36-gauge) respectively. All feature 26 barrels. The 20-gauge is 45 overall while the 28-gauge and .410 bore are 45.2 long overall. This trio is otherwise the same as the standard 812.European American Armory Corporation (EAA) of Cocoa, Florida imports the EAA from Akkar of exotic Istanbul, Turkey! Turkey has NATOs second largest military (after the USAs) and naturally, it makes many great arms!Technical Data
