Slow processing and shipping as usual but, the Glock 20 is a thing of beauty(!)... Dale Hunnicut of Gripreducitons.com is going to LOVE de-humping this pistol and giving it a nice beaver-tail grip modification(!)... The 9x25 Dillon conversion barrel from Wollff makes this baby a real SPITFIRE(!)...
Very disappointed... After watching countless reviews on YouTube on how the SF was considerably smaller in hand. I ordered from Buds. I got a gen 3 SF while I was waiting on background to go through at my local FFL I grabbed a gen 4 out of case looked at it 10 different ways and had two employees from the FFL confirm I wasnt crazy. It is the EXACT same size as the Gen4. I was so disappointed. Had this not been falsely advertised I gladly would have paid the extra $80 for a gen 4 to get the better recoil system. Bad business for glock, my frame has a SF on it, however the stamp is located in a different spot then the ones I saw videos on. This is my 11th pistol. First and last glock. Extremely disappointed with the false advertisement, I am trying my best to like the gun with talon grips etc. Its just not working out. Will prob. Just sell for a couple hundred loss. Buds did everything as expected, and emailed me updates throughout the process. No issues with Buds they were great. As for glock, never again. ...more
Wow! Budsguns their service and prices are 2nd to none. Had my 10 mm glock in 3 days. Awesome ! The gun feels terrible in hand and trigger sucks compared to my Smith & Wesson PRO , also purchased from buds guns. Going to fix trigger with help from glock triggers.com as need good bear gun in Michigan's North Woods. Grip will need lots of help. ( stippling ). ...more
This is my first Glock. WOW! This is a great firearm. I have all the others but only this one in 10 mm. I retired my 1911 .45 and replaced it with this. After taming this stallion I have more control and with the power I'm sure to get a Michigan buck. Maybe some trigger work and sights for hunting to make it complete. I now see why a Glock is a top favorite. In the late eighties I thought this gun was a fad. I was wrong. Hats off to Buds' for their continued great service. ...more
Glock 20 SF came in new and as advertised, with all the great Glock additions (i.e. cleaning brush, extra mag, mag-loader, lock) and a nice Glock case. I opened it up to inspect it and saw some copper gunk inside, and was worried there was something wrong with the gun - a quick Google search and I discovered that it is supposed to be there. Glock puts this stuff in their pistols now, it is an anti-seizant grease compound, sort of like a lubricant to help keep the slide running smooth which I unfortunately removed most of before reading it was good for the gun (whoops) and a lot of people say to keep it in. My mistake! But just wanted to mention for new Glock buyers in case they aren't aware what it is, the G19 I bought a few years back did not have this copper gunk in it so it was new to me. Also, this gun is a BEAST! It is gargantuan compared to my G19, and I have slightly small hands, but the SF fits in my hands nicely. I loaded it up and did some weightlifting with it for a while and my arm got tired from holding this cannon! I love it. I am so excited to go shoot it. ...more
