The MC2c slide incorporates Mossberg's unique STS Safe Takedown System in which the user unloads the firearm (removing the magazine, and clearing and locking the action open), and then removes the striker assembly prior to to removing the slide, avoiding the possibility of accidental discharge by pulling the trigger for disassembly for cleaning and maintenance. This pistol uses a high-tensile strength glass-reinforced polymer frame with a front accessory rail for your choice of weapon light or laser.
