Bought it as a pocket gun. Picked this over others as it had a metal frame which most pocket 380s dont. My only complaint, which is a big complaint for me, is the very long trigger pull and reset. It isnt a heavy pull an...d is smooth but just sooo long. Shooting controlled pairs often lead to me shooting one round then not letting the trigger out enough to reset before pulling again which results in no second shot. Not a good thing in a close range defensive pistol. Sure, I would get used to it with enough training but dont like the possiblility of it happening when I needed it and needing to shoot it different than all my other guns. For reference, I dont have this problem doing pairs with double action revolvers so the pull/reset is even longer than those. more

The Remington RM-380 is a very good buy. This is my second. It works and shoots exactly as advertised. It is small and easy to conceal. I like it because it has no exterior safeties, an exposed hammer, although it is flu...sh with the slide. It also has a slide hold open lever. This little .380 is just about perfect and it is reasonably priced. more

I also own a Ruger lcp II. Compared to it, I like this gun's build better. However, reliability is not as good, tend to have at least a failure every range trip. Also, while the LCP II is hard to takedown, this one disas...sembles itself... The take down pin has fallen out during manipulation of the slide, never while shooting. Just FYI. more

Pros: Fun to shoot, tough as nails and no need to worry about being careful with it, will NEVER fire in your pocket and you will feel totally safe carrying it with one in the hole (after you fire it and witness the LONG ...hard trigger pull), clean break upon firing, barely notice it's in your pocket it's so light. Cons: Picky with ammo (Tula, Perfecta; Steel Case not good ideas) and will have its failures to feed, eject, and fire as well (but is fast correcting), sights are next to non-existent, long trigger pull while safe for EDC and needed for this, it takes much practice to NOT anticipate the break and finally get accurate but is very accurate for its class...even at longer ranges (once you have put a couple hundred rounds through it). Overall a fun gun that has a great and easy rack but the only way you can trust this with your life is to get good with it and take it to the range several times...just like any gun I guess. more

This firearm is pretty awesome for the size and price point. It's taken all the ammo I've put through it no problems. It's a tiny pistol, so it's great for conceal carry. It came with two magazines, one flush with the bo...ttom of the grip and one with a pinky extension. My only complaint, if you could call it that, is that it has a long trigger pull, but since it has no external safety, that's probably a good thing especially for a pocket pistol. If you're in the market for a reliable pocket pistol, this is definitely worth considering especially at $250. more

Not a jam yet. Four different shooters and a few types of ammo with no issues. Great pistol with a great design. I have had a number pocket pistols. This one of the best regardless of price. Not as good of a trigger as m...y Seecamp, but much better than my Ruger and Smith. Metal frames just feel so much better than polymer. High quality made in the USA and I Highly recommend it. more

I was a little bit nervous ordering this RM380 with all the negative press Remington has been getting for some of their firearms. But after receiving the RM380 stripping it down then taking it to the gun range. I fired 1...00 rounds with no issues of any kind, light weight and very small. Had a Ruger LCP for quite awhile it was ok. This RM380 feels good in the hand and very comfortable to shoot. I am using this as an everyday back up weapon for work I trust it completely. And as usual Buds service was excellent. more

Great little pistol. It is easy to conceal. It can be carried without a round chambered since the slide is very easy to rack.

Pleasantly surprised at how much I like this pistol. A shame the negativity from the R51 debacle is carrying over to this model. Only complaint I can make is the extremely long trigger pull and that is overcome by the sm...ooth & easy operation. Very easy to rack the slide, eats everything I feed it & the accuracy is tremendous. RE: the supposed problem of the takedown pin falling out, I have tried to make this happen by slowly (very!) racking the slide in the "gangsta" position and it just doesn't happen to me. I would buy this one again and recommend it without reservation. Fit, finish and function is flawless & for $251.00 it is a steal. more

    Quality lacks- Service terrible
Would give it Zero if I could . Purchased Dec. 28, 2018 . Took it home cleaned it, put it back together inserted magazine ,it fell out along with retainer and spring. This should not happen with a brand new weapon. All I... did is what should be done to any new gun. The repair shop it was sent to, Heinrich's in Huntsville ,Al. does not return calls . The Remington service reps are no help either in discussing why they out source this to what appears to be a one man repair facility. I can fully understand why remington has filed for bankruptcy protection. I am not a hater of remington as in the past an owner or a 742 ,700, and various 870's. I am very dissapointed the direction this company has taken. PS also own a Remington Rolling Block. DO NOT WASTE OR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS WEAPON. more

I purchased this gun because of a outstanding after Christmas rebate Remington was offering. I got pistol in and it was in great shape. It had a good oil coating on it that was easy to clean off when I got it home and str...ipped down. I didn't know what to expect with this pocket pistol and was pleasantly surprised when I got it to the range. The sights were to be expected, as it is a sub compact, fixed sights pistol. I shot it from 3 yards to 10 yards and was fairly accurate with it out the box. It isn't meant to be shot from 15-20 yards and I didn't treat it like it should.I put fmj and hollow point ammunition thru it with no hiccups.I liked the extended magazine better than standard magazine, mainly because it fit my hands better. Overall, it is a gun I would purchase again. It came 2 magazines, box, owners manual, and gun lock with it. more

Nice dependable pocket pistol. Have own Ruger LCP, KelTec 380, Seecamp 380, Kahr P380 and this one. First three had heavy recoil. The Kahr has shorter trigger pull and the least recoil however it does need the recommende...d 200 round break in. This pistol has slightly more recoil and longer trigger pull. I ran a patch though the bore wiped off exterior packing oil and proceeded to fire 300 rounds of different brands including Tula without any failures. Would not hesitate to carry it right now. more

Remington did a great job upgrading the Rohrbaugh design. I just shot 50 rounds without failure which is great compared to my first visit to the range where I experience multiple failure to eject failures. This was attri...buted to poor factory quality control. I am deducting one star for each part Remington forgot to install in the new gun - one star for the ejector, and one star for the coil pin that retains the ejector. Remington customer service sent me the missing parts promptly so thumbs up for support. more

Purchased for the Christmas 2017 rebate deal. It was a no-brainer. Transaction went thru with ZERO hiccups. Shipping was within a day or two. Received in perfect condition and gave it a good cleaning that night. Had to w...ait two weeks for weather conditions to fire it. Action was tight and crisp and took less than a 50rd box to get her loosened up. Will be performing duty as a back up weapon for when and if things get "Up close and Personal". She does have a LONGGGG trigger pull but its to be expected and appreciated since it has no external safety. That is one reason it was designed like that, for extra safe carrying. Definitely pleased with my purchase, will be buying from Bud's again. Maybe they will send me a coffee mug for all the money I spend with them,,,Lol! more

It's a fun gun. Can't hit anything I aim at if I'm further than 10' away, but hey that's not what this is for. This is a little fella that slips into your pocket when you need to run an errand or go get mail. It's someth...ing that's small enough and light enough that you don't constantly worry about printing or exposing it inadvertently. Hickok 45 did a review on youtube if you want the details. Fired 200 rounds through it so far, variety of ammo, no problems. Summary: For $200 less than the nearest micro, it's a good deal. Buds, as always is a great company to buy guns from. more

I very much like the platform of the Remington as compared to its competitors. First, I like the balance of the firearm. And I appreciate its light weight. Fits into a suit pocket like no other with a Nemises holster. Th...is is the second RM380 purchased by me. My wife liked mine so much, that she had to have one too. It fits into a belly band nicely, or one of the holster shirts designed for women. And the recoil doesn't offend her. Oh, I like the all metal construction as well. No plastic except the grips. more

I have never had a new firearm arrive in what appears to be a used condition like this did. The two magazines were covered with scratches like they had been intentionally tumbled with hundreds of others and then packaged... with the handgun. No wear on the handgun and it has a nice grip and weight but overall weight feels too heavy for pocket carry compared to my .380 lighter carry pistol (made by another US manufacturer that starts with{2307c472f6f110ecbf0e42a034b15145e5dc7e0111458047079e1bac48bb059f}u201DR{2307c472f6f110ecbf0e42a034b15145e5dc7e0111458047079e1bac48bb059f}u201D). Long trigger travel seems to be a safe design but too long rest; break is crisp. I had a very hard time reassembling to replace the pin even though the same pin has no catch to keep it in place if the slide is racked with gun turned sideways it can jam the slide. Overall I would give this a 3/5 stars and hope Remington can make a few improvements more

As always, smoith transaction and fast shipping from BUDS. Bought for $219 while the $100 mir deal was going on, figured that for the price the deal could not be passed up. RM380 comes in a heavy cardboard box with manua...l, decal, a gun lock, 1- 6 round mag w flat base pad and 1- 6 round mag with pinky extension. Looks wise it looks better than its like priced sub compacts (Taurus pt738, Ruger LCP and Keltec P3AT) and has a metal frame not polymer. The pistol is ergonomically comfortable and despite the size my hand fits well on the grip with plenty of clearance so it doesn't look like slide bite will be an issue like I have experienced with the p3at. The slide is surprisingly light (Light enough for my mother to rack despite arthritis unlike the other 3 listed which she can't even chamber a round in) and smooth (no gritty feel as others have noted in their reviews). I cycled 4 full magazines by hand (twice each, one with steel cased FMJ TULA range ammo and one with JHP Hornady Critical defense) both mags and both types of ammo cycled without issue. Field strip is easy, one pin that will wiggle out if you walk the slide back slowly with the ejection port facing up. I read several complaints about this "feature" but unless youre shooting it like a "gangsta" it should not make a difference. The only think I did not like was the trigger. People have complained of how heavy it is, it really is not so bad and at worst comparable to a double action revolver. The trigger pull however is LONG. The one on the pt738 is probably the best of the bunch there. I will be taking it to the range shortly to see how it performs but overall I'm pleased with it this far and for the price I paid it seems like a hell of a deal. more

It's a nice little .380, slightly bigger than the Taurus TCP and of course the minuscule Kel-Tec .380. It's still pretty compact, the slide racking force is very easy, I'd say at least 40{2cea7292e19a761580fb2b68e8c61861...f9ab9ef5385773fe9dbf6d46a5f6b33c} less than my other .380s, it should be very accommodating to those with arthritis and/or decreased grip strength. I found accuracy of 1 inch at 24 feet, bullet impact 2 inches high and an 1 to 1 1/2 inches right, pretty serviceable for a close range pocket pistol. The sight are fixed and minuscule but again par for the size of these guns, some bright fingernail polish will help that. I like that it has 2 mags total, some may like the finger extension on the one but Personally I prefer small as possible. This gun is a good easy racking pocket pistol, so far it's performed 100{2cea7292e19a761580fb2b68e8c61861f9ab9ef5385773fe9dbf6d46a5f6b33c} but round count is still low, handled some aggressive HP rounds with nary an issue. Well, Bud's does it again. Super prices and great service. FYI I'm a firearms instructor for about 30 years and I recommend Bud's to all my students. Regarding the RM380. For me, it's everything I want in a pocket gun. S...mall enough to slip into your pocket and large enough to have a good hold on it. I don't shy away from polymer guns but it's good to have a lightweight all metal gun in my pocket. I just picked it up and hurried to the range and shot 2 magazines of mixed FMJ and 2 mags of mixed hollow points flawlessly. It's recoil is much softer than a lot of the .380 mini-guns on the market and at 69 years old, I appreciate that. more

I purchased this little beauty for pocket carry when I’m wearing a suit or dress pants on particular. Not only is the design slim and elegant, everything I read about ease of use, quality, and durability/reliability is... spot on. Plus the $100 Black Friday rebate Remington offered made this purchase a STEAL! Thus far, I’ve shot a variety of target loads through this pistol right outbofnth box with zero failures. It’s comfortable to shoot and the added a alloy frame rather than polimer allows for much better accuracy (at least for me since I tend to “choke” the trigger of a lightweight polimer single stack too much). The trigger does take a bit getting used to but he learning curve is short and a long double action trigger pull is what I would expect from a point-and-shoot CCW pocket pistol. The only improvement I intend to make (I also added custom grips from eBay for $24) is a touch or paint on he front sight. Well done Remington and Buds! more

This is, without a doubt, the best carry solution you will ever find. The gun is small enough to carry everyday regardless of the weather or your clothes. It hides inside the waist or disappears in a pocket holster; you'...ll forget it is there. As for function, nary a hiccup. This machine eats everything you feed it without problems. The recoil is very manageable; you can shoot for an extended time without hand pain. It handles Buffalo Bore hard-cast without a problem. For those who think you need at least a 9mm for carry, try a few Buffalo 100gr hard-cast in 380; they will make a believer out of you! I don't carry with anything but Buffalos, regardless of caliber. Remington has restored my confidence in their products with this piece. As for Budsgunshop, they are the best. Super fast shipping and the best prices anywhere. Reliable, small and light weight for a all metal gun. It also includes 2 mags witch is a plus in this class but I just can't get over how long the trigger pull is.

Seems to be a nice gun. The trigger pull is heavy around 7 to 9 pounds, and there's a lot of slack before it actually engages but otherwise a good gun.

This is an excellent pistol, small enough to keep in your pocket, inexpensive enough to compete with Keltec. I have about 500 rounds through it and not one failure in anyway, probably the best kept secret of the firearm ...world right now. When I got it I immediately put 300 rounds through without cleaning or lubing just to see what it would do, and it was flawless. If they would release it as a 9mm like it is supposed to be this pistol would be even better. Its slowly taken the place of my Kimber Micro as my pocket carry. more

I received my $50 rebate check from Remington today (5 1/2 week turnaround from the time Remington received my paperwork). This pocket .380 came with two magazines (one flat base and one with the pinky extension). This p...istol shoots high with PMC FMJ but hits closer to the target with Fiocchi FMJ. From a standing position and at a 22-feet distance I'm able to hit two-inch circles about two out of six times with the Fiocchi ammo. The other rounds land close to the circles. I'm an average shot. This pistol does NOT have a manual safety. It is EXTREMELY EASY to pull the slide back and jack a round into the chamber. That would make it an excellent purse gun for the ladies. I have only shot about 100 rounds through this gun, but so far it has been 100{132760761d883d681f594debf3c84002b74773c14c3a710786793c26f4ee19c5} reliable with both PMC and Fiocchi ammo. Also, I like the looks of this pistol. It reminds me of those pocket pistols they brandished in the old Bogart movies.....very cool. more

Honest review....to start it off budsgunshop.com is where i buy my firearms now. Great prices. Great coustomer service. Great selection. Will be buying from budsgunew more times for sure haha. About the rm380tho. great e...rgos. Pointability id say way better than my 1911. Lines up perfectly with a quick aim. Fit my back pocket of jeans with an uncle mike #2. Shot greatan smooth. Absolutly no recoil....an accurate... for 220ish rounds. Trigger started slipping off the hammer prematurely. If you buy it for a cheap easy 380 ccw id say put 500 rounds through it if you can... or buy a different gun honestly. Mines in repair atm. Remingtons all a jamble. Got my name wrong. Hoping they sent the second package with returning procedurces in it... as a spoof.... hope they dont loose my pistol... atleast the second time they got my name right..... honestly of it works after repair..... ill still be saving for a glock or a sig p938... save your money an buy a lcp2... or try to believe in an old firearm company that you hoped would be good.... an think of it as a 250 dollar donation to talk to costomer serviece.... there nice.. but spell yiur name and adress out slowly..... more

This is a nice size for CC, but boy does it have a wicked recoil for its size. Long trigger pull too, almost to the back of the trigger guard. 12 LB. trigger pull too, kinda rough on the index finger, could use a wider t...rigger. Put 100 rounds through it and no failure to loads. Everything worked perfect. All in all for $245 and a $50 rebate its not a bad buy. more

I purchased this pistol to replace my deep conceal Bodyguard due to never fully appreciating the hand feel or the trigger pull on the Bodyguard. First off, Bud's did well for shipping, which arrived one day early. I size...d both the Bodyguard and the RM380 up, and the RM380 is just a hair wider than the Bodyguard, but both easily use the same holsters. The hand feel (for those with larger hands) of the RM380 seems to allow a more positive grip of the firearm than the Bodyguard, and the trigger is quite a bit different in a much better way. The Bodyguard seems to start heavy, have a long pull and finish lighter (though still uncomfortably heavy) and a bit unpredictable. This caused me to have issues keeping the sites on mark while shooting. The RM380, however, had a bit shorter pull (in comparison to the Bodyguard but still a bit long) that was entirely smooth and even weighted until you get to the end where there is an obvious stop that is overcome with just a bit more pressure. This pull definitely assists with target acquisition during the pull and a positive break that I was not expecting, but in a good way. Rapid pulls of the trigger overcome the break easily and this trigger action greatly improved my shot placement over the Bodyguard. I cycled many rounds of both standard Federal brand ammunition and Hornaday Critical Defense with zero failures. Unlike the Taurus TCP I also owned, the RM380 also has a larger ejection port (as does the Bodyguard) which allows for full extraction of the longer unfired Hornaday Defense loads that the TCP required the magazine to be removed for the unfired round to fall out of when clearing the gun. All in all I hope all this helps you if you've run through a few pocket carries looking for the perfect one. I believe the RM380 is for me. more

Quality little 380. Nice looking, feels good in the hand and is pretty pleasant to shoot for such a small gun. I have put a little over 100 rounds of mixed FMJ's (both brass and steel cased) through it and have not had o...ne single problem. The trigger pull is LONG but it feels very smooth and fairly light. You would have a hard time pulling this trigger on accident which is good for safety yet It really didn't take me long to get a good feel for the trigger and I was able to shoot pretty accurately with it. It carries great and feels lighter then I expected considering its not a plastic frame like a lot of pocket sized 380's. more

Awful little pistol. I recently gave my Taurus TCP to a friend who needed it, decided to replace it with this Remington. The trigger is so bad that I actually thought it was broken! Nope, my gunsmith said this is how it ...was designed. The travel is so extremely long, and the trigger itself is shaped in such a peculiar way that accuracy is way down. I've already ordered an aftermarket trigger fix for it, but my hopes aren't that high. Will probably give it away and count this gun as an expensive little mistake. more

The RM380 appears to be a solid firearm. However, there are some design problems with the barrel. The ledge that the guide rod rests on is too shallow and should be curved to accommodate the round end of the rod. This fl...aw allows the guide rod to easily drop further into the barrel. My RM380 has a problem feeding JHP ammo (SIG V-Crown Elite 115gr and Hornady Critical Defense 115gr). The round fails to reach the feed ramp, landing just below the ramp. To recover, the slide must be locked back and the mag ejected (with the round stuck in the mag). This happens with both mags. Another issue I'm having is with ball ammo. They feed just fine until the last round - the slide will lock back and the round will simply fall out. My last issue is with the sticky, hard to remove gunk coating on the gun and mags, both were cleaned and oiled. After watching a video where the gun went through 500 rounds in real time, I'm convinced that other than the design flaw, the other issues are with this particular RM380. I'll be sending it in for service. Once the gun is returned I'll update my review. more

Excellent size, weight and feel in the hand. I seem to have trouble ejecting the magazine when firing this gun, but since no one else has made this comment, it must be my grip??? The price with the rebate is excellent. T...he gun is fairly accurate at 10 yards, and this is a close defense gun, not a range gun, so I expect that. The trigger pull is very, very, very long. This is taking some getting used to, but for it's designed pocket carry purpose with no manual safety, the long trigger pull is your safety. I don't think I'd be comfortable having such a weapon with a shorter trigger pull, but that is up to the owner. This is a solid choice for it's intended purpose and it's priced (with the rebate from Remington) with the cheapest guns you'll find. All metal. I think I'll get another! more

Smooth transaction at my ffl An buds. I like the RM380 as it's little more hefty not much then an lcp etc sized 380 but small enough to fit the pocket etc. Also the heft cuts back tremendous on recoil though recoil isn't... that bad on a .380 in the first place. The dao trigger is smooth an I like it but I shoot revolvers mostly other than my xds9. So far it's fed Remington UMC fmj excellent no ftf or fte. more

This is my second RM380 because I love my first one so much, great pistol, very accurate and very reliable. This one in particular came defective, whenever I rack the rounds into the chamber by hand, it creates a double ...feed, every time. Pocket Pistol
Well, the RM380, is not a bad little pistol. Fits nice in the hand, an has a very lite recoil. Really no sight's if you want too call them sights. The trigger is long, but for a hammer fired no safety pistol, that&#...039;s good. Specially if you keep it in a pocket. For a Conceal Carry, very concealable, but its a close up defensive pistol. In side 10yards, more than that with the sight's you have very low accurate shooting. Ran about 200rds. Monarch brass, works very well, Remington and Blazer brass too. All an all, a good close defensive pistol. more

What can I say, I really love this little gun. It took me about 2 weeks before I could get out and put some rounds down range. I had one FTF with a JHP, racked and cleared and did not experience any more after 50 rounds.... I carry this in a home made pocket holster with shorts or khaki/ work pants and fully loaded its weight is hardly noticeable. its small enough to conceal, but large enough to fit in your hand comfortably with or with out the finger extension. With jeans i need to have it in a back pocket holster or an IWB and you could forget its there. I almost drove myself crazy on Youtube trying to make a decision between this and the 738 and a few other. I trusted my gut on the RM380 and I couldn't be happier. As for the pin falling out, I don't really see that even being a issue but there are means to handle it if you needed too. All in with the transfer this cost me less than $300. Thank you Remington and Thank you Buds more

I ordered the RM380 from Budsgunshop on Wednesday and I received the handgun from my FFL on Monday! Budsgunshop rocks! I really appreciate the email notifications and the quick delivery. I am already looking forward to m...y next purchase through Buds! I have run 200 rounds of ammo through my RM380 and it has worked flawlessly! I love it! It feels comfortable in my hand which I would say is a medium sized hand. The felt recoil on the gun is very manageable especially for the size of this handgun. My daughter is going to obtain her permit in the near future and liked the feel and size of the handgun as well. The sights are not the best but once you get a feel for the handgun, your accuracy will improve. During the winter time I will continue to carry my XDS or my Walther PPQ but the RM380 is an awesome handgun to carry when wearing slacks, sweats, or shorts. I am definitely glad I made this purchase. The one drawback with this handgun is the trigger pull; it is hard but it is not horrible, But for deep concealment, I would definitely recommend this gun! I have not been disappointed! more

Purchased my RM380 in March 2017 from Bud's. The price has dropped significantly and now is a great time to buy! :-) I have put about 250 rounds through it, without 1 hiccup, using both cheap and premium ammo! Great litt...le pocket gun. I carry it everywhere. I have smallish hands and this gun fits perfect, for me. Recoil is mild given the locked breach design. Ladies will really like this compared to some other small .380's that are blowback operated and much heavier on recoil. The sights are rudimentary. Milled slot in the slide and basic from blade design. For me, POA and POI are pretty close at 7 yards using all ammo I have tested. Obviously, this is not a target pistol but it is accurate enough to get the job done if ever needed. Given what this gun is and what is was designed for, the only negative for me is the long trigger pull, which I can certainly live with. The trigger is smooth, now that the gun is "broken in". Trigger pull weight is a little heavy but comparable to other double action only pistols that I have, which is desirable for a pocket gun. I certainly wouldn't want a pistol, with a light trigger in my pocket! I think Remington has hit a home run with this little pistol. 5 Stars, with an A- regarding the long trigger pull. more

Ammo used: Tulammo fmj(powerful kick), Federal FMJ(spread target), Monarch FMJ(on target). With federal bullets I was rapid firing for the most part so the accuracy was 100%. Great pocket gun.
Remington made a r51. They had issues I've heard. But then this came out. They gun works great. Absolutely love it so does the wife I bought it for her. Guys let them get it in their name and pay that the register, ...and she will love it. You see I rated four out of five. The sights need a little work visually but are accurate you just have to look at I recommend a little fingernail polish. The trigger is an issue because of the pull you really have to pull that thing back. But it's a great gun. The other 380s have competition. Remington brought it. more

    trigger is staged
I bought this new model RM380 about two months ago and have no problems with using good grade ammo. The trigger is something to get accustomed to, it is staged in two parts, you first pull the trigger to a hard stop and ...then use extra pull past the hard stop, actually I get good accuracy with this arrangement. There are some trigger modification springs on the market but I am going to leave things as they are. I like this well made (no plastic) and it should last for many years ..... more

I do have a couple of issues, (1) the sights are very small a...nd blend almost too well with the slide, sort of tough to get in focus; (2) the DAO trigger is very heavy, It took SEVERAL rounds to get use to the heavy trigger. No biases!
I was researching a handgun for my spouse and ran across this RM380. There were not a lot of online reviews and no ranges had one we could shoot. I reviewed all of the typical 380 polymer pistols and we did not like anyt...hing but the Sig P238. My spouse has damage in her left hand, so racking a slide is difficult even when using the right hand to do the work. None of this is an issue with the RM380, slide is easy to rack and in her words "This one feels good in my hand!". Having never shot a gun in her life, I provided safety instruction before taking her to the range. I observed as she began firing and noticed that she naturally learned to stage the DAO trigger before firing. Her groups were very consistent at 3 & 7 yards and within 8 inches at 7 yds. She is actually a better shot than me. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, give Remington a chance on this one it is a fine firearm! more

    Nice Pocket Pistol
The RM 380 seems to be a well built firearm. The first time at the range with 50 rounds of factory FMJ there were no failures. The next trip I'll try some hollow points. Being right handed I noticed that it pulled h...igh to the right. More control from the supporting hand produced much tighter and centered groups. Take down was easy. Turn the gun on its left side with the unlock pin hole lined up, shake, and the pin falls out. Putting it back together was another thing. Three hands helps during the reassembly. The slide lock works, but needs to be easier to use. I understand that Remington is planning on a 7 round magazine for the future. The two 6 rounds that come with the gun work best with the mag extension. They only include one extension in the box. Removable hand grips will allow for aftermarket mods. This little 380 should be a good pocket carry. more

    Not Bad
I like the thickness to it,compared to other pocket 380s, it feels better in my hand. It is priced right compared to similar pocket 380s. The trigger isn't bad, it seems to be a little longer than my S&W 380 or ...my Ruger 380. You need a punch in order to field strip it. No safety, which I like in a CCW. It has the hold open feature after the last round, unlike my Ruger. Ambidextrous mag release which I really like since Im a lefty (as in handed not political!) The real down side is that mine shoots to the right and it doesn't have adjustable sights. At close range this isn't a big deal but the further you get out the more to the right it will be. So with the take down and the shooting to the right, I only give it 3 stars. more

This could become my favorite pocket gun over my Ruger LCP Custom. Finally got to take it to the range today and tested every type of 380 ammo I had in my locker. 50 rounds of PPU FMJ, 12 rounds of Fiocchi FMJ, 12 rounds... of Blazer Brass FMJ, 12 rounds of Amscor FMJ, 19 rounds of Liberty Civil Defense hollow points and 12 rounds of Hornady hollow points. That is 117 rounds total without one single malfunction, completely flawless. Hope of have time for more exhaustive test later. Fit and finish of this gun is outstanding. Very easy to shoot and got used to the sights easily. Did not shoot the best groups in the world, but still getting used to the trigger. The trigger is very smooth, but long as you can image for a double action only. I do not have a trigger gauge so cannot report exact poundage. I am just happy this tiny gun shots everything I could throw at it flawlessly. I am very happy with the purchase. more
