WIDTH: 60 mm (2,4") (hand guard) bis 70 mm (2,8") (incl. bolt handle) HEIGHT: 185 mm (7,3") (without scope) BARELL DIAMETER: 22 mm (0,87") TRIGGER: 8 - 20 N (adjustable double stage trigger)TRIGGER: Very crisp no ripping. The Haenel development allow the possibility of a venier adjustment of the trigger pull (8 to 20N), longitudinal position. With integrated Trigger stop. BARREL: Hammer-forged and inside chromed barrels. The RS 8 barrels have exacting bore and rifling dimensions and a carefully tuned exterior contour. Threated barrel to mount different accecoires (Muzzle break, silencer and compensator). BOLT: Tested up to 8.000 bar gas pressure. Massive 6-lugs-bolt-head big extractor and special slide coating for the bolt action for a proper extraction of the round. High ingnition power due to a strong firing pin spring. RECEIVER: steel receiver with thick cladding and integrated Picatinny-rail (milled into the receiver). Uncompromized corrosion and abrasion resistance for smooth feeding. MAGAZINE: 10 round capacity with a special slide coating and strong carrier spring gives a high functional value, even under worth conditions. The crips provide a stiffer housing. MAGAZINE CATCH: ambidextrous lever for right and left handed shooters. Buttstock: allows a nearly tool-less individual adjustment of the stock. All parts with physical contact are made out of synthetic parts or have a synthetic coating: pleasent ergonomy at any climate. Chassis: solid alloy-part with integrated prismatic bedding for the upper-receiver (block) for the bench shooting performance. Surface is hardanodized. Underside with Picatinny rail and optional rails on the left and right side. HAND GUARD: high tensile glass fibre synthetic hand guard with a flad underside for a good rest of the rifle and ergonomic grip even when its cold. C.G. Haenel produced precision weapons from 1840. The brand took its name from the weapon designer of the royal Prussian weapons factory, Carl Gottlieb Haenel. Carl-Wilhelm Aydt developed the rolling-block action for Haenel in the 19th Century; Hugo and Hans Schmeisser developed machine pistols and assault rifles in the 20th Century. Today C.G.
