Ruger 10/22 Stainless Capacity

The Ruger 10/22 Stainless is chambered in .22LR and feeds from a rotary-style 10 round magazine that is regarded as one of the most reliable magazines on the market.  If 10 rounds isn’t enough, you can easily find 25 round curved box magazines granted you don’t live in a state with silly magazine restrictions.

Measuring 37 inches long with an unloaded weight of 5 to 6.5 pounds depending on the stock, the Ruger 10/22 is perfect in weight and length for everything from bench shooting to pest control to small game hunting and even some competition shooting.

Ruger 10/22 Stainless Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Ruger 10/22’s traditional stock shape was made as a 1:1 weight and feel copy of the US Carbine, .30 caliber M1 (M1 Carbine) and today’s traditional stocks copy a majority of the feel.  All of them have the same controls including the reciprocating charging handle connected to the bolt.  Due to the popularity of this rifle, replacement stocks of different materials and styles are easy to find.

Ruger 10/22 Stainless Fit & Finish

The Ruger 10/22 Stainless, as the name implies, is made with a hardened stainless steel bolt, barrel and receiver making it nearly impervious to corrosion from the elements.  The stainless steel barrel also improves the rifle’s accuracy as the barrel heats up because stainless steel doesn’t expand as much when heated.
