Critic Consensus
Its a niche gun and I have always been a fan of the unique. After all, there cant be that many bolt action, suppressed, .357 Magnum SBRs floating around the world. In reality, however, its the awe inspiring silence that makes me appreciate this rifle every time I pull... Read critic reviews...

Ruger 77/357 Critic Reviews
Ruger 77/357 Description
The Ruger 77/357 is a fast-handling, hard-hitting bolt-action rifle well suited for hunting deer or hogs in heavy cover where quick shots are taken at relatively short range. The 77/357 comes equipped with open sights; the front sight is dovetailed into a very secure banded and soldered base, and the rear sight is adjustable for both windage and elevation. Integral scope mounts are machined directly into the receiver, which eliminate any chance of the base loosening under recoil; and stainless steel scope rings come with the rifle. The 77/357 operates with a 5-shot rotary magazine that fits flush with the stock at the rifle's balance point, aiding in the lightweight rifle's ease of handling. A 3-position safety allows shooter to load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged in the mid position, and locks the bolt solidly when the safety is all the way to the rear. With a synthetic stock and stainless steel barrel and receiver, the 77/357 endures the worst weather conditions. The Ruger 77/357 Bolt-Action Rifle, with its 18.5" barrel, shoots the proven .357 magnum cartridge approximately 200-400 fps faster than a revolver, making it adequate for big game hunting and personal defense.Technical Data
