For those familiar with the Mini-14, the AC-556 is very similar other than the select-fire parts. In fact, Ive read that more than 90 percent of the parts are interchangeable between the two guns. Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is the Mini-14 223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider, blade and adjustable peep sights and standard receiver markings. The selector switch is positioned on the right rear of the receiver, with positions for semi-automatic, three round burst, and full automatic.
