How would you like to rate Ruger LCP 3727?
The Ruger LCP is Iconic in that it's so widely owned mine has been super reliable the capacity has been not an issue recoil is ridiculously Stout but manageable and as far as aftermarket parts go you won't have any issues there the only gripe I have with this gun is when the trigger resets it clicks twice and it throws me off other than that no issues ...more
Great price on the popular LCP with the Viridian Laser! The laser works flawlessly and turns on and off automatically with the included sheath with the magnet inside. The pistol is good overall. The long and firm trigger pull hurts accuracy but it is necessary for safety and I am ok with that. The Ruger LCP is excellent for concealabilty and functions in a reliable manner with all the different cheap and quality ammo so far. ...more
Fantastic little pistol. It comes with a holster sleeve which will shut off your Viridian green laser when the pistol is inserted... that way you can leave your laser "on" and don't have to fumble around with the button in a crisis. It's very lightweight, I barely notice it in a jacket or jeans pocket. It's a great alternative to a compact or full-sized carry pistol, and is perfect as a backup. I have used this with an ankle holster, and barely notice it's there. Another great Ruger product! ...more
***** I love the latest version of the LCP. Bud's had a great deal that included the Viridian Green Laser. The newest model LCP has better sights and improved triggerr. The LCP takes a lickin'and keeps on tickin'. It will feed and fire any .380 ammo. It is a littlw snappy, but it is little. This firearm sees more CCW than any other firearm due to its small size, light weight and reliability. Also, it is accurate to point and shoot. **The Viridian Green Laser that came with this LCP is OK. One issue with Viridian is that their instant on setting will cause the laser batteris to discharge after a few weeks even though you do not use th laser. I understand why the battteries go dead, but think Viridian should be up front about battery life when using the instant on setting. The batteries are a PITA to change. The laser off/on/auto setting is hard to set. If the laser had a simple off/on switch it would be great. As it is, your choices are to set it on automatic (comes on when you draw it from the holstter) or fumble around trying to push a recessed button while trying to not shoot off a finger. ...more
If it shoots as well as i looks, I will be extremely happy. Laser batteries were dead on arrival but box contained a replacement set, very easy to change out . Magazine lock isn't the best but with some breaking in i'm sure will work out. Holster contains magnet inside so when weapon is holstered it automatically shuts laser off, when weapon is removed laser turns back on. Great feature!! ...more
Bought this gun for a pocket pistol, a get off me gun, didnt expect accuracy when buying this gun my only hopes was I could fit it in my front pocket. I can gun fits nicely in my front pocket un noticed. Took it out of box a set of batteries was in the gun and two other sets were in box. Set in gun was already dead which sucked I had to replace the batteries as soon as I opened it. Would have really liked to have three sets havent lookes into how much they cost yet. Took it out fired 100 rounds of cheap steel cased ammo through it without one malfunction. Laser is amazing take it out at night and its distance is as powerful and bright as any 300$ laser ive ever seen. ...more
Went to shoot thus little gem today. Everything went fine and laser was easy to sight in. The only complaint I have about the gun is the magazine catches while inserting and you have to push harder than I would like to get magazine in. Easy to take down and clean. Field stripping is easy once you do it once. To learn how to do it the first time is..well.. confusing. It is a nice little gun and would recommend it to anyone. ...more
Great service and fast shipping from Bud's as always! The LCP is about what you would expect for the price. Disappointed in Ruger's overall quality and design on the mag and mag release system...could have been much better on a weapon designed primarily for the ladies. Mags are hard to seat and misaligned when you do manage to slam it home. The bottom of the mag can be moved front to rear 1/16" or more and stays in the extreme forward position when seated causing an offset of the frame and pinky extension. My husband disassembled the gun and tweaked the mag release and mags...it is now... as it should have been from the factory. The little gun does shoot well and the recoil and trigger does not seem as bad to me as some people would have you believe...very manageable even for a lady. Machine work on the barrel leaves a lot to be desired..rough all over and gouged on the lug.You get what you pay for..but i expected more from a name like Ruger. ...more
