How would you like to rate Ruger LCP 3762?
I only have 100 rounds of .380 FMJ (Fiocchi, Tulammo and GECCO) ammo through this Ruger pocket pistol. rnAbout three rounds of the Tulammo, steel-case ammo needed assistance to chamber. All rounds went bang.rnThe gun is pretty accurate at 22 feet. I'm an average shot and I can hit two-inch circles about one out of three times. rnThis LCP is a MAJOR IMPROVEMENT over the, I believe it was pre-2013, LCP pistols. I know the blue-camornlook is pretty wild, but I have never owned a wacky-looking gun before. Since Ruger calls this look "Moonshine"rnI now refer to this piece as "my little hillbilly pocket pistol" don't cha know. ...more
I purchased an LCP at a great price. I ordered it on Friday and it was ready for pick-up at my FFL on Tuesday. I was also considering the LCP II, but decided on the LCP. The double-action trigger pull is smooth, the sights are adequate, and I think it will work well for its intended purpose. This is the first time I've bought a gun online and am pleased with the results. ...more
Great handgun. To me it is the most spectacular invention of the 21st century. This would be my 4th LCP that I own and I have never been let down with one. Russian steel ammo can run just as smooth as brass in these things. Magazines are cheap and plentiful along with a variety of accessories. I do not collect these in my own sense. I doubt anyone would desire one in 50 years unless it would be the ultimate LCP made of gold. I do however want a back up to my back up and maybe a few in storage. I carry so many guns from day to day I tend have a general idea of what gun to pack for each scenario. The LCP averages the most carry situations and I even double it up easily carrying two without worry about discomfort. This blue one looks okay. Not really a fan of a colored gun but that was not going to break my deal. The trigger on it is great with a crisp break. Price is unbelievable .. Thank you Buds rnrnNow if only Ruger would make an LCP with 3.75 inch Barrel and Hi Vis Target Sights... Please... someone from Ruger ...more
I brought this brand new pistol to the range and it was jamming every three shots using Remington .380 UMC. The edges of the slide are very sharp and I cut my finger several times when cocking the pistol. The trigger is not as hard to pull as people say but is does have a long travel. If you intend to buy this pistol, you should to think of purchasing the Promag 10rounds magazine so it can extend the grip to the size of your hand and of course, to have more rounds. ...more
