Ruger 5130 Bisley Vaquero Info

The Ruger Bisley, manufactured by Sturm Ruger & Company, is a 5 or 6-shot, single-action revolver. It comes in a variety of different finishes, calibers, and barrel lengths. The revolver takes its name from a grip frame designed by Colt’s Manufacturing Company that was popular at shooting matches held at Bisley.

Bisley Vaquero revolvers feature comfortable western-style grips, patented indexing pawl for easier loading and unloading and traditional beveled cylinder for easy holstering. Plus, they feature the unique Bisley-style hammer, simulated ivory grips and high-gloss stainless steel finish for an eye-catching look.

This is my first single action cowboy gun. It is sweet. It is a fairly heavy gun, making .38 special easy and .357 magnum very manageable. I have small hands so the Bisley frame and lower trigger spur works well for me. ...It is a sight to behold and looks great in the Galco 1880s holster/belt rig I got for it. The only negative are the cylinder drag marks. Didn't expect this on a new gun. more
