How would you like to rate SIG Sauer P226 MK25?
Thanks to Buds, I was finally able to add this high quality firearm to my collection. The gun, the Sig Sauer MK25, arrived at my FFL a few days after Buds notified me it was being shipped. As always, my gun arrived in perfect condition, with all of the included accessories and literature intact. The gun has everything you need in a serious, personal protection or duty weapon: Mil-spec rail for lights and lasers, (3) magazines and tritium night sights are standard. I look forward to ordering many more guns from Buds. ...more

Absolutely the best gun in my collection
I've had this for about a year. It is reliable. Shot around 1,000 rounds of different ammo. Mostly cheap 115 gr target stuff as well as some HP defense rds. Not one failure - ever. It is super accurate. Recoil is very well managed. Grips are awesome! Even if you had were wet, you'd still have a slip free hold. Nights sights are great for day, low visiblity or complete darkness. I mounted a Streamlight TLR-1 800 lumen light and use it for nightstand duty using a 20 round mag. ...more
P226 Emperor Scorpion - Another Great Sig!
I recently purchased the Sig P226 Emperor Scorpion. This is my first P226, but not my first Sig Sauer. In addition to this P226, I also own several P229's, P320 and a SigPro 2340. Overall the fit and finish are excellent. It fits my hands perfectly. The first time to the local gun club was on a cold Saturday morning when there was a weekend "fun" competition scheduled. So, I joined in. After three runs through the course, I'm hooked. This just might be my new favorite gun (beating out my P229 Legion). No problems, none expected. ...more
It is fantastic that the Guide has these available, and at a fantastic price - especially for us members. I'm retired LE and have always wanted a P226, but never pulled the trigger on one. I'm glad I did. The MK25 is basically a beefed up and corrosion resistant 226 (like everything Navy), and most importantly it is a Sig Sauer. The pistol cleans up very nicely, and it shoots accurately right out of the box. I have already put about 400 rounds through it, and have yet to find anything it won't eat - from cheap 115gr range ammo to Buffalo Bore 147+P hard cast. Zero malfunctions. As a Glock shooter, it took me a while to adjust to the double/single action and the decock, but back in the day I was trained on a SW 4506, so it came back pretty quickly. The Sig handles amazingly, has perfect balance and grip and is a very easy shooter. Awesome pistol. ...more
