I am a long time Sig user. I wanted a full size pistol for home defense and I wanted it to work every time! The legion arrived at my FFL in 3 days from Bud’s. I got it home, cleaned and Lubed it. The gray finish is excellent with no imperfections. It came with three mags which is a huge plus. The trigger is phenomenal with a short reset. I took it to the range and ran about 100 rounds of 115gr. Fiocchi through it. Not one failure, and this baby is accurate! I am putting on a weapon light and this will be my new nightstand gun. Also the Sig X-ray sights are excellent and visible in all lighting conditions. Buy with confidence! ...more

In today's society something has changed...I have always felt comfortable with 7-8 in the stack and 5-6 in the cylinder but it was time for a 9mm and double stack. The 9 got shortchanged for many years because of stop ability, with the advent and hybridizations of ammo it was time to try it again. I went with the 226 because of reliability and hit factors. Making it a Legion was...... if ur getting a Caddy then drive the 'best one' mentality and its living up to the hype. It cycles everything I send down the tube and quick response from recoil for back on target hits. Excellent weapon and would buy again if the need arose. ...more

I don't know that I can sing the praises of this thing highly enough, but I'll give it a go anyway.rnrnThis is an absolutely amazing pistol, and probably the finest firearm I've ever shot. The trigger is just incredible; very minimal travel to the wall, and the break itself is like snapping a glass rod. The reset is, by far, the shortest I've ever felt on a pistol. Ergonomics are excellent. Control placement is idea. There's exactly nothing I would change on the layout on the gun.rnrnThe ROMEO1 is the first pistol optic I've ever used. I've no complaints. It did not come zeroed from SIG, and I ended up not using it on my first range day with the gun, but after getting it sighted in, it's almost like cheating, insofar as target acquisition and ease of use go, though I am still getting used to it. I can't comment on battery life yet, but for a battery you can get at Walgreens in a five pack for five bucks, I'm not overly worried either way. The XRAY3 tritium sights are excellent in their own right.rnrnIn short? It's excellent. It's worth every penny, and I regret nothing. ...more

In word, SLOW. I can get a package from Amazon in 2 day you took nearly two weeks to ship my firearm. It makes me not to want to deal with your company. Thanks John

I bought this pistol after using a P229rx at a combat shoot. Several things stood out. First, the RX sight made ut easy to acquire the target and hit it...i was having trouble seeing my iron sights and the target clearly. Second, the time it took to hit more distant or smaller targets was drasticallly decreased. Third, i like the 15 round capability. Fourth, the pistol is typical Sig Sauer accurate. Fifth, the Legion quality shines through. This pistol already has several hundred rounds through it, no jams, on target, is my new carry gun! ...more

I'm not even sure how to review a gun like this. It's the type of gun that when you hold it in your hand you just smile....alot.This gun feels great in the hand.It looks like it would be a beast. The x-ray sights are awesome and easy to cowitness. The trigger is the most incredible thing I have ever shot a gun with. The Romeo I red dot is great...I'm an old guy..62..and this gun is deadly accurate. Was it worth the money ? Indeed it is.The only negative thing is that the 15rd mags that come with it...you cannot get 15rds in them...I tried everything but only 14 will fit..but that's the only bad thing about this gun...Get one..you won't be sorry.Make sure you get it from Bud's...best price anywhere,,,great FREE shipping. ...more

First purchase from Buds was a very good one. From order to delivery no issues. The Sig 229 RX Legion is my first Sig and it’s been a pleasure to shoot! Right out of the box the iron sights were spot on. I had to adjust the red dot some but that was easy and now that gun is a tack driver. Smooth trigger and easy take down for cleaning. It’s what I expected from Sig and they have seemed to deliver. ...more

I love this pistol to death, absolutely worth every penny. The feature set on the Legion line are amazing. The upgraded, tuned, and polished trigger is excellent for learning good trigger control, the reset is great for quick follow up shots, and the pull weight in both double and single action are extremely manageable. The finish and grips have held up extremely well, even after several months of every day carry and hundreds of holster draws. The sights are excellent. The X-Ray sights that come on the pistol are really easy to pick up and the Romeo-1 is an amazing red dot. I have had mine on a mid level setting since I got my pistol back in April and it's still going strong with no battery change needed. I was really worried about battery life from other reviews I had read online about the optic. The dot is crisp and small enough to get some good accuracy at distance. The gun has been 100 percent reliable out of the box with a variety of ammo from junk steel case range stuff to the variety of odd shaped hollow points I have run through it, it has fed and fired every time. The DA/SA action also provides second strike capability if you encounter a hard primer, which I haven't up to this point but anything is possible. ...more
