Best handgun.... Right below the colt 1911A1
I purchased the Sig P320 compact FDE.40 cal. Very fine weapon, extremely accurate, excellent rate of fire. My wife can handle this higher caliber weapon with ease as compared to a Glock that hurt her arm at a lower calib...er. Very fine weapon more

    P320 XCARRY
I did a lot of research before picking the Xcarry up. However should have rented it first then would have probably passed on it. In all honesty it is just a little more accurate than the standard P320 at self defense ran...ges. The trigger is smooth, mine came in at 4.5 lb trigger pull. However, it is rather vague more

    Sig P320 40cal
I have owned several pistols, Glock 19, 23, Sig 226, Colt 1911, and a couple of others, this P320 40cal l just purchased and shot is one of the best. 5, 15 and 25 yards it is accurate. I like the sights on the Glock bett...er, more contrast, but other wise l can see why the military picked it. more

    plastic rear sight
After 400 rounds fired the rear sight came loose and slipped off the slide. It is a cheap plastic sight that can not be securely held in place.I found that the pistol is muzzle light under recoil. I will add a lazer-ligh...t to even out the balance of the pistol . As for sights I will have to fit an after market sight to make it reliable .This is my first and last Tupperware hand gun. more

    My absolute favorite
I have several hand guns including a p226 mk 25, Glock 19, etc...This 320 RX is incredibly accurate! At 7 yards you will have groups the size of a quarter and at ten no bigger than a silver dollar. It takes a bit to zero... it in but once you have....perfection! My best purchase everLike with all sigs, no malfunctions after 3000 rds now. What a machine! more

Faulty Rear Sight - Slow, Ineffective Service
After about 500 rounds (that were great and spot on), the rear sight became very loose and fell out. After only two weeks of owning the firearm, I had to send it to Sig for a service. The service took a whole two months.... When they finally returned the pistol, within another 100 rounds the rear sight once again fell out. Extremely disappointed in what I thought was a stand up brand. Barely even used the firearm and it is faulty. I've owned the firearm for three months, and I will have to send it off for service yet another time! My first and final Sig. Do not recommend. more

    Great trigger!!
I originally was looking into buying a CZ P-07 pistol, however I could not find a location that had any in stock. The Salesman recommended that I look at the 320. When I put it in my hands it just felt right. Ergonomics ...are amazing and when it feels right in the hands it's a must buy. First time on the range I got to experience for the first time the sweet trigger and boy does it not let you down.Shortly afterwards I found out about the Voulentary Upgrade that sig sent out to all buyers. At first I was upset because I fell in love with what I bought, but I sent it in and sign says 4-6 weeks but I got it back in 2 weeks, that includes sending it in and receiving it. Sig was amazing at customer service and for that I will now be a SIG Fanboy!! Oh and by the way the new trigger is even more sweet than the original and was super pleased about that. It truly is an upgrade more

Perfect gun but SS is NOT exclusive to Cabela's
The p320 compact stainless is the perfect gun for me (when paired with the threaded barrel sold separately). I wanted a stainless finish and red dot. This is the only gun on the market that has both.

    Perfect
I did put an Apex flat faced trigger on mine and it feels lighter even though it is not. It changes the angle the finger engages the trigger. Overall it is an excellent piece. I now have close to 2000 rounds down the tub...e and have yet to have any issue using my own reloads at 1123FPS with 115 gr. bullets. The reflex sight takes a little time to get used to it but it is absolutely deadly. My factory battery lasted 10 months so I'll just change it every 6 months to be on the safe side. I use it as my bed buddy and carry gun even though it is a full size. There really isn't much difference in size between the FS and carry models. more

    Poor quality control
After about 150 rounds I noticed the rear sight was so loose it was about fall off. You could slide it back and forth like an abacus bead. I called Sig and all there representatives were busy for about twenty minutes. Th...en I was told that I had two options a) they could mail me out a new sight and I could take it to a gunsmith or b) I could send it in. I chose b. I wrote after a week to get a time frame since I hadn't heard anything and was told it would be 4-5 weeks. A factory new gun that I only had for a few weeks is now in for a month long repair. Absolutely unacceptable. This was my first and last Sig. more

    Fantastic Pistol
No wonder the US military decided to go with this pistol. It so easy to field strip that at first I thought I was doing something wrong. It is very low maintenance. The only thing I had trouble with is that I am used to ...adjustable target sights and 6 O'clock aiming . This is setup for tactical aiming, ie., aim for the X, no adjustments, but it groups very tightly. Because much of it is plastic, at first it feels cheap especially when one is used to a vintage Colt M1911, but once you fire a few rounds the quality becomes obvious. Oh, did I mention how easy it is to field strip? I also like the idea of being able to convert to different sizes and/or caliber without having to purchase another pistol. more

    never fails
Just put 1500 rounds thu this at the Sig academy over 3 days of classes. I did a light cleaning every night and made sure it was oiled. The gun ran flawlessly for every round. The Romeo site did need a small adjustment a...fter my first 1000 break in rounds since then has been right on. The trigger is great right out of the box but will get even better after the first 500 rounds. Cleaning is super easy as you can remove the entire guts and soak as needed. more

Best out of the box I have shot!!
I could not believe how accurate this Sig is right out of the box. The Romeo 1 sight was perfectly sighted. I have not made any adjustments to the Romeo. It is so accurate to almost become boring at the standard distance...s I usually shoot at 7 to 10 yards. Now I often take the target to the far end of the indoor range to test this red dot. It is easy and quick to pick up the sight. more

    Great little pistol
I own quite a few handguns of different makes but I've never owned a Sig Sauer because of their price. I recently purchased this P320 compact in 9mm. Sigs first striker-fired moderately-priced semi-auto pistol. I just pu...t a box of shells through this pistol and I was totally impressed with it. Especially the trigger pull. It's stock sights are right on. It is very accurate it seems to be well made and for a medium price gun and it has a great trigger on it. I can't say that much for other makes of pistols I've got in that price range. If anybody's looking for a good full size or compact pistol I would recommend this pistol. The compact version seems to be somewhere between a compact and a subcompact and would probably work well for concealed carry. Very happy with this purchase more

    First Sig
This is my first Sig, I've owned CZ and Smith and wesson. I did my research, looked at pros and cons and things I liked and didn't like. I had originally ordered the regular P320, then as I was picking it up, caught the ...RX from the corner of my eye and I must say, it was like finding gold. I had been looking for an RX for a while and finally got one. This thing shoots awesome, trigger pull I wouldn't change, great carry weapon, just a joy to shoot. accurate right out of the box
I have the Sig Saur P320 Compact 9 MM. It is very easy to operate, very easy to disassemble and clean and goes back together easily. I've torn it down all the way to taking the actual pistol out of the frame. This modula...r idea is marvelous. It was accurate right out of the box at 7 and 10 yards, off hand. The weight and balance are very good. I have it in Flat Dark Earth. I prefer anything that is American and this Sig is getting very American. Chosen by the Army and Made in America. One step away from perfect
Good gun, almost perfect. The good: great red dot, holds zero, over 1000 rounds through it with no malfunctions. Very accurate, Nice backup co-witness iron sights. It took me a while to get used to drawing the gun and ha...ving the red dot visible in the glass without having to hunt for it. Just a training issue, but well worth having the dot for longer range shot, or very precise placement. The Bad: battery life is short if you leave it on and use the motac (motion active) sensor. You get about a week before the battery dies if you forget to turn it off and put it in the safe or the nightstand. Being a top load battery, its not a big deal, but it will add up over time. The other negative is that you'll want one on your other 320's also and there is no one who will mill the slides to fit the romeo1. I wish I could get one on my compact. Fix the battery life to be up there with trijicon and it is perfect. Just one small step away as it is now. Ok go and get one for yourself! more

    True Ambidextrous Handgun
Incredible gun for the price! I'm a lefty and I was concerned about it not being ambidextrous as is the H&K VP9 which I also own. Even at the Sig Sauer web site there is no mention of the P-320 or any of there handgu...ns being ambidextrous, as I'm new to Sig Sauer products I could only presume that they were all right hand operated. Being in a right handed world you get used to this problem, I shoot right handed guns just fine like all the other lefts out there. As a matter of fact when I look at most handguns they are for right handed shooters. As I looked at the P-320 I noticed the slide release was on both sides but the mag release was on the left side which I just use the middle finger of my left hand to drop the mag. OK no problem, I asked the old gentleman selling the gun if the magazine release could be switched to the right side of the handgun but he or any of the experts couldn't answer the question. I purchased the P-320 and read the owners manual and was thrilled that the mag release could be switched to the left hand configuration!! Both guns shoot very well and I could see why the Military is going to switch to this weapon because of the easy caliber change from 9mm to a .40 to a sig .357 with just X kits. I've seen the torture test and it not good for either handgun, but I'll leave it at that. I do have to say that the H&K leaver for the slide release is much easier on the right side but not on the Sig, both sides of the Sig are tough and smaller, but I think this will break in. Like another reviewer said "they are two different animals" and he is right, more

    Sig Full Size 9mm
I took my new Sig Sauer full size 4.7 9mm to the range along with my HK VP9. Upon shooting the P320 I was very pleased with the gun. Very accurate. Trigger pull is heavier on the P320 than my VP9 however the trigger rese...t is nicer IMO. It is a great gun and I love the feel. The VP9 and the P320 full size feel and shoot like different animals, I truly enjoy both of these guns.my only two complaints which aren't a big deal at all are: the take down lever on my P320 is kind of difficult to spin compared to the VP9, and it was an easy fix but upon disassemble for my first clean I took the magazine floor plate off and on one of my magazines the floor plate insert was installed backwards on my spring. Not a big deal easy fix just kind of surprised. more

This is the first time I have owned a Striker Fired gun. Never liked Glocks or the S&W striker fired since they always either FTE or FTF on me. So I was skeptical on the P320 since plastic gun and all the others I ha...ve tried in the past didn't work out since I cannot lock my wrist due to way to many surgeries on my arm yet I am no where near limp wristing as it it. Bought it two Saturdays ago and shot it last Friday. After 20-25 round or so to get the Romeo sighted in proceeded to put another 250 rounds through it. No center left on the target and started aiming at the outlying areas just to see if I was still hitting what I was aiming at and I was. Great gun and recoil is not like they typical recoil of a 9mm. Not quite as snappy. Just one thing as I got the ODG grip I really wish it was ODG instead of pea puke green yet is still better than FDE any day of the week. more

    P320 with Romeo
First I have to confess that I am a Sig fan and have been since my very first gun. I currently carry the P229 Legion. I really was torm between the S&W c.o.r.e. the Glock MOS, and the Sig. I assumed the Sig would pri...ce itself out of the competition, but the P320 comes with the Romeo installed making it the price winner.I've put about 250 rounds through this P320, and I am blown away. I'm an old guy with eyesight to match, but I've never shot groups this good. The reflex sight is amazing, and the Sig lives up to its legend of uncompromising accuracy. Seriously, I'm shooting like I know what I'm doing. This gun is nothing but fun! Bought it for the range and home protection, and I couldn't be more satisfied. more

Great Gun Out of the Box
Bought the P320 because of the modularity. Took it out of the box and put 5 shots in one hole. Bought the .40 compact, shot great with my light reloads. Bought the 9mm conversion, shot even better. Looking to get the new... one with the Romeo sight. more

    Sig-Sauer P320 Compact .40 S&W Duty Weapon
Sig-Sauer has always been my weapon of choice for its reliability and ruggedness. I added the P320 compact .40 S&W for my duty weapon as a Tennessee Armed Security Officer after working for a United States agency. I ...had to qualify my weapon and score shot 100% from different distances and timed fire. The night sights were correctly calibrated from Sig-Sauer and I have never had a mis-feed or jam from any of my other Sig-Sauer handguns.I appreciate the striker fire system with the easy reset trigger resulting in a short pull and crisp action. The barrel rise is minimal in the .40 S&W rounds. I would never use anything less than a .40 firearm and only use Winchester PDX1 hollow-points.When my life is on the line I want the best, most reliable and rugged .40 caliber pistol I can count on. I value my life more than the cost of the Sig-Sauer. You should too. more

    Bit by the Sig bug!
Bought a p238 for CC and absolutely loved it! Could not believe how smooth it shoot for a small gun and that made me want a 320! Went to the range and shoot a full size 9 and could not believe how good the gun felt in ev...ery aspect! So I went out and bought one, and could not be happier. I haven't had a chance to shoot any others besides the fullsize 9, but if you are thinking about the fullsize buy it you won't regret it! Put 200/300 rounds through it the first day without any hiccup at all! Sigs first foray into striker fired pistols is a home run in my opinion! more

Great gun at a great price
I have owned a p320 since it came out. I have put at least 1150 rounds through it and not 1 malfunction of any kind. Accurate from the box and a great trigger out of the box. Reset, for all of the people that care about ...that, is good as well. I have the 9mm full size and have shot the 40 s&w and both are great. I also own a glock g19 gen 4 and I enjoy the sig more. Sig has made a glock killer. more

    Great Gun Great Trigger
Overall very impressed with this Sig320. I purchased the full size 9mm, it is a large gun, not my EDC, but easy to shoot very well. The Siglite sights are easy to pick up and a nice addition to any pistol in a very compe...titive market. The trigger is excellent, very little take up and crisp break, then a nice short reset. The trigger has a nice tactile feel and audible clicking on the reset. I'm really tempted to get a P320 in 45ACP. more

    Sig P320c Best!
We are so impressed with the Sig P320c that we have chosen it for our home defense firearm. We now own 4 to have them strategically locked in a quick safe throughout our home. Please note that you can choose contrast sig...hts or night sights. So, think about when and where you might need to use it.Being a female the P320c is too large for me to properly conceal. But, I love it so much that I decided to purchase the P320sc for my carry. My husband is in total agreement. This should speak volumes about the P320c that a husband and wife can agree on it! more

    Awesome, Great Handgun
Have a Sig Sauer P250, S&W Shield, Beretta PX4 Storm. All nice guns. When I purchased the Sig Sauer P320 .40cal Compact with Night Sights I immediately discovered it to be the best gun I own or have shot. This is a g...reat job by Sig Sauer. Accurate, No problems. The P320 is my favorite. Bonus is that the P250 magazines and the P320 magazines are the same when using the same caliber so it doubled my magazines. more

    P320 Can Fail to Fire
Be aware, the P320 can and will fail to fire. If you don't pull the trigger properly (i.e. squeeze the trigger too slowly), the gun will fire but not reset the sear thus the next round will fail to fire. Note: this is no...t a result of "Limp Wristing" more

    4.7 40 S&W
I have had this gun about 6 months. It has become my favorite range and home defense gun. It has a great trigger and is very accurate. It fits my hand better than any other gun I have. For a 40 I think it has a mild reco...il. For the price this is a very nice quality gun, plus it comes with night sights. I would recommend this gun to anyone. SIG gets Striker Fire Right in P320
Fits well in the hand and after 1,000's of rounds through it NOT one problem. The 9mm compact performs smooth with any bullets. 2 x 15 round magazines, thank you. The breakdown is fast and easy. Cleans great. Fits perfec...tly in my IWB custom holster. Even with the shorter barrel the groupings are tight. Cabela's treats me right with every gun purchase - this one was no exception. Smooth
I've had my SIG Sauer 9mm P320c Carry for four months and have put about 1000 rounds through it. Some of the ammo was cheaper stuff (Herters), but the rest has been American Eagle, Remington, and Winchester. The largest ...number of rounds has been Winchester NATO (+P, but not labeled as such), which the P320 loves. Regardless of the ammo source or type, I have experienced no problems of any kind. Every round has fired and ejected, and the accuracy is excellent. The racking action is somewhat heavy (my 100 lb. wife can't rack it) but it's very smooth. Trigger pull is just right, not too long, not too short, and very smooth. Takedown and reassembly are easy and very smooth, and no trigger pull is necessary for takedown. Did I mention that this gun is smooth? If you value smooth in your firearm, give the P320 some serious consideration. more

    Home run for Sig!
I can not speak highly enough about this gun. I owned several Sig's, S&W, Beretta's and the list goes on... But this is the only striker fire I have ever owned and trusted. It's my carry gun, it's my IDPA Competition... gun, and it's the gun I take just to go plinking. The night sights make a huge difference in comparison to my Beretta's. They aren't overpowering in dark so others can see, but give you the right sight picture to put rounds down range. more

    Superb Striker-Fired SIG!
In the past I've never been a fan of striker-fired handguns, primarily due to how the grips felt (Glock) or the less-than-stellar triggers requiring aftermarket upgrades (S&W M&P & Glock, for example). So, I'v...e been making do all these years with DA/SA handguns like the Beretta 92 & SIG SP2022 or SIG's DAO P250. I loved how the grip felt on my P250's, but the DAO trigger, although excellent, is both long and slow, making it less than optimal for rapid shooting.Enter the SIG P320. Still not interested in striker-fired, I read an article about it online simply out of curiosity due to its resemblance to the P250. My curiosity was piqued and increased as I read more and more favorable articles about the P320.Curiosity finally got the better of me so I headed down to my local Cabela's to handle one in person. What can I say? WOW! The P320 still has the P250's excellent grip characteristics but now has a superb out-of-the-box trigger for a striker-fired handgun. Bought the 9mm P320 Carry on the spot and headed for the range!Over several hundred rounds, function was 100% with a mixture of Hornady 135gr Critical Duty, PMC 115gr FMJ and the hard-primered GECO 115gr FMJ that occasionally gave me light-strikes with other handguns. Accuracy & pointability are excellent, the P320 is much more accurate than I am.Takedown for cleaning is easy if you remember no mag in the magwell and the slide has to be locked back before you can rotate the takedown lever to remove the slide. The P320 shares both modularity and some parts (holsters, magazines and grip modules) with the P250 so it's easy and relatively inexpensive to configure the P320 w/different size grip modules and/or different calibers without having to purchase an entirely new handgun. What's pleasantly surprising is the P320 offers a very good handgun w/a great trigger, handling characteristics and night sights right out of the box! Sure, owners might want to tweak grip size or such, but that's minor compared to what has to be done to other handguns to make them as serviceable.Color me sold, I now own 3 P320 Carry's; one for nightstand duty, one for CCW and one for training/backup (I'll rotate them every few months). If you're in the market for a very good striker-fired pistol that won't break the bank, give the P320 a look, it has a *lot* to offer. I give it 5 stars. more

    SIG P320 great new gun
I purchased the fullsize SIG P320 in 40 S/W cal in November 2014 and it is now my favorite shooter. The modular design, the outstanding feel of the trigger and the overall quality of design is noticeable as soon as you p...ick up this gun. No other gun except possibly the Beretta PX4 disassembles for cleaning as easy as this gun and it handles the 40 cal ammo so smoothly I barely feel much recoil shooting it one handed right of left.. This is a great SIG first striker fire pistol. SIG got it right with this design. more
