Smith & Wesson M&P 40 Shield M2.0 11595 Description
Smith & Wesson's M&P Shield is a slim, concealable, lightweight, striker-fired pistol which largely set the standard for the concealed carry market. Since its introduction in 2012, over one million Shields have been sold, in a variety of calibers and configurations. Features which have accounted for its success include an easily concealed one-inch profile, ambidextrous controls, an optimized 18-degree grip angle, simple operation and reliable performance, a high-strength polymer frame with a durable, corrosion resistant finish, and an Armornite-coated stainless steel slide and barrel. The Shields 5.3-inch sight radius and an unloaded weight of 19 ounces provide for fast tracking and smooth target acquisition, while the short, consistent 6.5 pound trigger with an audible reset allows multiple rounds to be placed on target both consistently and accurately. This particular model is chambered in .40SW and has no manual safety. Included with this pistol are a Crimson Trace Red Laser and two magazines (one 6-round and one 7-round).Technical Data
