It can hold 12+1 rounds and features the same single action/double action trigger mechanism as the Taurus PT 24/7. Under normal circumstances, this is a single action pistol. However, if it ever fails to discharge, it reverts to a double action system so you can pull the trigger for a second strike. The trigger action is smooth and has a long take up. It also resets easily. The magazine release is flush. Overall, this handgun has an ergonomic design and it is mechanically faultless.
