    Very nice kit
This is my 3rd black powder kit. I made the other 2 about 35 years ago, from another company. This kit has very nice polished brass, the barrel looks great even before blueing the metal. The wood stock has good grain that... finished well. Did very little inletting on the wood. The sights fit a little too loose into the dovetails on the barrel. Flattened sights with punch on corners and got a tighter fit. This is a handsome looking finished gun, and I look forward to firing it, and teaching my grandkids muzzle loading. more

    Extremely accurate
The set trigger is perfect, easy shots out to around 75yds, I'm sure there's better shooters going far past that [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Light weight Crockett
I’ve had it about a year. Accurate with 20 g of powder patched Ron Bull stack them on top of each other at 50 yards. Also 2 inch group at 100 yards although I wouldn’t want to shoot anything other than papers at that... yardage. Very easy rifle to complete well-made love the product. I also have the Kentucky Flint Locke rifle also made by traditions very very accurate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] more

Great Grampa would have loved it!
I often ponder the guns in my care and those that come to mind most often are my two Traditions Rifles. My Traditions .32 caliber Crockett squirrel rifle was beautifully made, strong, attractive and what must have been a...n agonizing attention to detail. From its finely finished wood stock to the 31 inch octagon barrel to the polished brass butt plate, trigger guard and for-stock cap its very nicely done. My Traditions Crockett is fun, accurate and a fine addition to my gun collection, it's not the first Traditions rifle that I bought and most assuredly will not be the last! My Great Grampa would have loved it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] more

Supper great gun for the price
Guns a tack driver. Company needs to think about making an affordable flintlock on the same gun. I bought my first one. Then bought the second one. Half a dozen of my friends that shot my crockett bought their own. My fi...rst crockett has a malcom scope on it. Made it sweet for my older eyes. Squirrels dont stand a chance. Fun gun. I have owned it over a year and with a couple hundred rounds fired it is still perfect. A fun and accurate rifle that will make anyone happy to own. At 32 caliber it uses little powder and lead so you can shoot all day f...or peanuts. I love it. more
