How can you say this gun sold for $605 new? This gun sold MSRP in 2005 for almost $1,500. Your article said it had a 2 stage trigger. No 1700 series gun had a 2 stage trigger. They had single stage triggers. The 1717 had the Olympic 54 action. The action alone would price out at $600 or more. It did have the Olympic match grade barrel. It also had a walnut stock. I have no understanding where you got that price that would be the bargain of this century. Are you sure Yes I have the gun and it shoots way above my level.
