Barrett REC10 Features

The Barrett REC10 is a semi-automatic AR10 pattern rifle that operates on a standard internal-piston action with a multi-lug rotating bolt.  Where the REC10 excels is in its use of a rifle-length gas system that sends a balanced amount of expanding gas into the bolt carrier group to ensure reliable function without causing unnecessary wear and recoil.  This rifle is built with a 16 inch barrel protected by a 15 inch free-floating M-Lok handguard to offer the best accuracy.

Barrett REC10 Capacity

The Barrett REC10 is chambered in .308 Winchester and can also reliably and safely fire and cycle 7.62 NATO.  The REC10 feeds from all AR10 pattern magazines which gives the rifle a standard capacity of 20 rounds.  Smaller 10 round magazines are readily available, as are larger 25 round magazines and even 50 round box drums.
Measuring 34.5 to 38 inches long with an unloaded weight of 9 pounds, the Barrett REC10 is the lightest AR10 pattern rifle that is built on a billet receiver set with a free-floating handguard.  The overall length allows it to be a feasible option in close quarter environments while still having the ability to sling big, fast slugs down range.

Barrett REC10 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Barrett REC10 has an AR10 style control layout with the improvements of ambidexterity.  The charging handle, safety, magazine release and bolt release are set up for easy use whether you’re left or right handed.  The factory-installed pistol grip is a Magpul MOE+ grip which fills the hand far better than the $4 fiberglass Mil-Spec grips, and the stock is adjustable allowing the user to change the length of pull to fit their body.

Barrett REC10 Fit & Finish

The Barrett REC10 is built on a billet receiver set that gives it improved accuracy, durability and wow factor while still offering the expected performance out of such a rifle.  The aluminum parts are coated with a proprietary coating that makes it impervious to environmental issues like rust and corrosion.
