Beretta APX RDO review

This Pistol takes a lot of features you love about APX pistol, This APX Combat Pistol is designed with a 4.25-inch barrel and a polymer frame. This semiautomatic handgun holds up to 10+1 rounds of ammunition. This is a standard full size pistol capable of accepting a red dot sight which is really nice and unique.

Super accurate, and easily conceals iwb. Shot it better than my m&p9 which is saying something.

TFB Review: Beretta APX Centurion and Compact

At the top of the backstrap and frame is a narrowing at the full length of the handle. It definitely gives it a unique feel when firing. It may be that or the low bore axis of the design, or a combination of the two. Both have a good feel for firing. The front grip texture is very pronounced. It provides a strong positive grip on both models. Some of the women who fired the pistols found the texture uncomfortable. So did our Editor-in-Chief. He apparently runs a keyboard more than a gun these days. When dry firing initially I thought the trigger would be a little rough–it had that “gritty” feel to it. The first thing you'll noticed was the trigger reset it is both positive and audible. The trigger is crisp enough to make it an excellent factory trigger. The front sight dot is slightly larger than the rear, easily grabbing your eyes’ attention. The rear sight body sits high enough to catch on your belt and assist in racking the slide in an emergency situation (or whatever “cool guy ninja” method you ascribe to). ...more

Review: Beretta APX Centurion & Compact

Technically, the Centurion is a mid-sized pistol. Dimensionally, the Centurion measures less than 5¼ inches, while the full-size APX measured more than 5½ inches. It’s new grip module can be separated from the chassis since the serialized part is the internal chassis. The chassis contains the fire-control assembly much like the removeable chassis found in the SIG Sauer’s P250 and P320 models. The APX Compact is significantly shorter at 4¾-inches tall, so the “compact” moniker is appropriate here.A standard Picatinny rail is molded into the dust cover, but there are two slots for attaching accessories on the Centurion and Compact due to the shorter slide and barrel length. The full-size APX has three rail notches. ...more

Gun Review: Compare and Contrast the Beretta APX RDO, Centurion, and Compact Models

The APX was Beretta’s first striker fired pistol. The full-size model was aimed squarely at the law enforcement market. Yes, that is a tough nut to crack, but Beretta’s been at this game a long, long time. As in, their first duty pistols were flintlocks. Now it’s a full line you can feel confident buying into. Right out of the box, they’ve included a modularity not seen in many other pistols, the Sig P320 being the most notable competition. As usual, Beretta brings quality and consistency to the table, and it shows in the wide range of models and accessories for the entire APX line. ...more

Beretta APX Pistol Review

Those vertical, widely-spaced stripes are a matter of taste aesthetically, but they’re perfectly practical. The nose-to-tail serrations enable a sure grip no matter how or where you grab the gun. Can also use them against any solid surface — shoe, belt, wooden plank — to cock the pistol.
