Heavy trigger but single action allows for a short wall and light trigger pull. deckoking is great for safely doing potential ammo fail... which has never happened. Handles high velocity ammo with great feedback. Reliable and balanced feel with quick sight acquisition. Adjustable rear and replaceable front.easy load 15rd clip. Some criticize that it being a beretta licensed firearm by umarex is bad thing but I still believe German build quality is an advantage. Walther is owned by umarex so the technology and tradition are a great combination. ...more

It's my 4th beretta m9a1rn I got rid if 2 and kept the 1st one and the last one I took home Monday sadly to say it feels grimy. Had to pull the slide with a lot of force. The barrel wear was significant and this is "new" . It not a big thing but it came that way. Front side post was dirty and dark brown. Every time I pull down the slide lock lever its slow. I oiled it up and still the slide is slower to close than the others from what Incompared. I wish they would check it and give me a top notch one. I guess the more you but the less they care ...more

Beretta M9 Unboxing & First Shots

The M9 offers a variety of tactical features that make it equally safe, easy to use and dependable in the holster of military personnel as well as for home or personal defense. Its reversible magazine release enables the use of either hand for tactical magazine changes, while its ambidextrous safety-decocker makes the pistol flexible for right- or left-handed persons or for shooters trying out different gripping or shooting styles. Its Bruniton finish with military-style markings is highly resistant to sweat and corrosion, and after shooting, a tool-free disassembly latch makes it simple and quick to take the pistol apart for cleaning. ...more

Beretta M9: The US Military's Sidearm

The Beretta M9 the back strap area and the dust cover is straight with decocker kit that way whenever bring the safety down it would spring right back up into the fire position to allow a double-action pole automatically whereas this one stays down and in the safe position which is kind of a ridiculous thing realistically, its got a 400 pound double action pole so there's no real need for a safety. It's smooth but its bare. ...more

Beretta M9A3 Type F 9mm Pistol - Trijicon Sights - 3-17rd Mags

The M9A3 was designed to be used in the heat of combat. For this reason, Beretta has put a generous bevel at the magazine well, so that tactical magazine changes may be performed quickly and easily with one hand, regardless of lighting conditions. Along the same lines, the magazine-release button is oversized, making it simple to use when seconds count even while wearing gloves. And the M9A3 is low-maintenance thanks to its hyper-resistant FDE finish that is practically impervious to the elements, sand-resistant magazines in 15 or 17 rounds (10-round standard), and intuitive tool-free disassembly. Whether it's on duty, at home, for concealed carry or at the range, the M9A3 will always give you the absolute best of Beretta's centuries-old experience and long history serving the needs of professionals the world over. ...more

Beretta M9A3 Tactical Pistol Review

The Beretta M9A3 Tactical Pistol also boasts a 17-round double-stack, sand resistant, PVD coated magazine, ½” x 28 STD 5.1” threaded barrel, tritium adjustable sights, 3rd Gen tilting locking block, 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail and a slim Vertec style grip with wrap-around backstrap for those with larger hands. The M9A3 holds its own against the harshest elements with advanced corrosion and wear resistant coatings, to include Cerakote, anodizing, Bruniton, PVD, black oxide, and a chrome lined barrel and chamber. The flat dark earth colored finish works to reduce the M9A3’s visual signature. While some may not be a huge fan of the 33-oz. empty weight, others might feel like they’re shooting something significant. ...more
