The Bersa Thunder is a semi-automatic pistol that operates on a direct blowback action and is modeled directly after the Walther PPK pistol with simplified design and manufacturing changes. The Bersa Thunder has a double-action / single-action trigger and is built with a 3.5 inch barrel.

The Bersa Thunder is chambered in .380ACP and feeds from single-stack magazines with a capacity of 8 rounds. Aftermarket magazine manufacturers offer low-cost magazines as well as extended 10 round mags
Bersa Thunder 380 Ergonomics
The Bersa Thunder is a small gun by every metric, though it does provide a full-handed grip for most users thanks to its extended floor plate on the magazine. The magazine release is located on the right side of the frame behind and above the trigger, and the slide-mounted safety is easily reached by the user’s thumb.
Bersa Thunder 380 Concealability
Measuring 6.6 inches long, 4.2 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide, the Bersa Thunder is easily concealed in almost any attire and in almost any position. The only downside to concealing the Bersa is the grip tang and exposed hammer which can potentially cause discomfort when appendix carrying.
Bersa Thunder 380 Fit-N-Finish
The Bersa Thunder is available in a wide variety of color schemes with stainless-steel and all-black being the most common colors seen. Many of the parts including the frame are cast before being machined. The double-action trigger has a pull weight over 10 pounds.
