The CZ 512 is a semi-automatic rifle designed by CZ for rimfire use, offered in both .22 Long Rifle (LR) and .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) chamberings. It uses a hammer-forged 20.5″ barrel and a delayed-blowback-type action to reliably handle the larger rimfire cartridge. The rifle’s modular construction features an aluminum-alloy upper receiver that houses the barrel and bolt assembly, coupled with a fiberglass-reinforced polymer lower receiver that contains the trigger mechanism and accepts detachable magazines field maintenance can be achieved with

The CZ 512 shares magazine compatibility and scope-ring dovetail dimensions (11mm) with the CZ 455 series, making it a strong companion for shooters already using CZ bolt-action rimfires. With an overall length of approximately 39.3″ and weights around 5.5-6 lb depending on variant, the rifle balances portability, accuracy and ease of handling. Although new production has been discontinued as of 2023, the CZ 512 remains a valued rimfire semi-auto option for training, plinking and light varmint use.CZ 512 For Sale

Cz 512 Capacity
The CZ 512 is chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR, .22 Magnum) and feeds from a proprietary 5-round magazine. While earlier iterations of this rifle had a flush-fit magazine, newer models have an enlarged floorplate that offers better handling while reloading and it also allows the user to tap the magazine into the well if it doesn’t seat immediately.
Cz 512 Feature
The CZ 512 is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle that operates on a delayed-blowback action to accommodate the larger .22 Magnum caliber. It is built with a 20.5 inch barrel topped with an elevation-adjustable rear sight and a hooded front sight with a receiver that is drilled and tapped to accept an optics rail.
Cz 512 Ergonomics
The CZ 512 has a control setup that is rather typical for a traditionally styled .22 caliber rifle. The safety is located behind the trigger, and the charging handle is located along the right side of the receiver behind the ejection port. The stock includes a full-pistol grip and the front handguard offers a support grip that fits in the hands of anyone who can wear adult-size gloves.
Cz 512 Mobility
With an overall length of 39.3 inches and an unloaded weight of 6 pounds, the CZ 512 can easily be carried on long hunts through the woods while you’re gathering squirrels. The light weight also allows younger users to easily learn shooting fundamentals without fatiguing their arms or requiring that they shoot from a bench.
Cz 512 Fit-N-Finish
The CZ512 has a receiver set made of aircraft grade aluminum and high strength polymer to keep the weight down while still being strong enough for regular use. The stock and handguard are made of hardwood that is sanded smooth and sealed with a matte clear coat.
