CZ-USA P-07 Info

The CZ P-07 Duty is the next generation of the CZ handgun family. The Duty features the ergonomics and accuracy of the CZ 75 with a totally new trigger system. The new Omega trigger system simplifies the CZ 75 trigger system, uses fewer parts and improves the trigger pull. In addition, it allows users to choose between using the handgun with a decocking lever(installed) or a manual safety (included) by a simple parts change. The polymer frame design of the Duty and a new sleek slide profile (fully machined from bar stock) reduce weight, making the P-07 Duty a great choice for concealed carry.

I like CZ pistols, there I said it so I have nothing more to say! I lied - This is a great carry pistol with the SA/DA trigger. Totally reliable with anything you wish to run thru it. On the verge of being a little large... for my smaller hands but still very manageable. Large controls, great trigger, and grip, what more to say? I'll keep it. more

This is my first CZ pistol—but it won’t be my last! The gun fits my hand like a glove. The magazine release and deco jet are all easy to reach and manipulate. At the range it pointed naturally and I found it very eas...y to shoot well. In either double or single action mode the trigger was smooth and released cleanly. I think I’ll have to get the full sized P-09 to ge with it. When carrying concealed it sits easily and comfortably against the hip. I’ve shot four boxes of ammo by different manufacturers with no failures of any kind. I expect to carry this pistol for many years to come. more

I own a few CZ handguns and liked my CZ P-09 and SP-01 a lot, so I decided to get a CZ P-07. The shipping wasn't nearly as quick as my previous purchases from Buds. I placed the order on 06/04/2018, it took about one wee...k for Buds to get it from a certain warehouse and then ship it out on 06/11/2018. It arrived at my LGS on 06/13/2018. The one I received seemed to have been in storage for many years, and didn't look nearly as new and pristine as my CZ P-09 or SP-01. more

What a great pistol. Shoot well and smoothly, especially single action. Double action is long, but good for carry with the decocker installed. Switched to safety instead of the decocker, but wasn't getting a nice positiv...e engagement. It will flip up on safe, but not with any real positive feedback. I switched back to the decocker and am happy with that. more

Love this CZ! High quality, excellent balance, its just great all around! you cant go wrong with this model. Mine even came with magazine 2 extensions so it now holds 17 in the mag and 1 in the chamber for 18 total. Love... it! No issues so far to report! more

This handgun is probably one of the best ones I have owned. I got it after watching Tim from Military Arms Channel run it through the “Gauntlet” and I’m very glad I did. It has proved to be nothing but reliable. Mi...ld recoil even with nato spec and +p loads. And of course it’s a CZ and they have crazier fanboyism following them than glock and rightly so. It has a pretty decent trigger right out of the box and if you get it Cajunized or gone through by the CZ custom shop it’ll be even better. If you’re thinking about buying this handgun, I’d 10/10 recommend. more

Since purchase in early 2016, this bad boy has been my carry gun outside the home and in. It sits on my nightstand as I sleep. I admit I don't have LE/MIL experience but I've run every brand of 9mm range/fmj ammo at my l...ocal store. Ive carried critical duty, crit defense, and federal hst with no issues. This just feels smooth every time I shoot. more

First let me say Thank You Buds Gun Shop. I received the CZ 75 P01 Duty and I could not be any more happy. After breaking the gun down cleaning reassembling and then taking it to the range I have put approximately 100 ro...unds through it and this is an incredible weapon. The service, price, and product from Buds Gun Shop is awesome. I would definitely recommend Buds Gun Shop to anybody and everybody who wants to purchase a weapon. My only suggestion is unless you can drive to Buds Gun Shop to pick up your weapon don't worry about the $5 you'll save paying cash. Use a card pay the bill get your weapon quickly. The ACH payment process took approximately two weeks to go from start to finish from my making the payment, clearance through Buds bank and then to shipping and out to me. This being my first gun this CZ 75 Duty is superior to just about everything else I have rented and tried and I do not understand how anybody and everybody would not want one of these handguns. more

as an owner of two cz75s and a cz97, i expected the p-07 to be top- drawer. i was not disappointed. it's lighter due to the polymer frame, but fits the hand and is an excellent shooter with little recoil. the only glitch... was that fiocchi ammo either wouldn't cycle properly, or it stovepiped. i shot a few boxes of blazer brass and pmc and it didn't miss a lick! glad i bought it. more

Buyer should be aware. Title says CZ PO7 Duty but the picture shows a the newer PO7. The description is a hybrid of both guns. The "Duty" does not have the front serrations on the slide or the switchable back straps. The... description says 3 dot sights while my "Duty" has a dot front sight but a white box back sight. Very small differences but they are real. Both guns are of excellent quality and i would think you would like either. more

I have had my P07 for 2.5 years now. It is an outstanding and reliable pistol. I find the accuracy at 12 yards to be better than my ability to shoot. I have never had the need to fire the weapon in self defense, however ...at the range it fires all the time every time. This is what a quality gun should do. I have friends that own a much more expensive Glock that actually prefer my CZ. If you are looking for a quality 9mm, check out the P07 duty. more

I purchased the PO7 Duty a few months ago when it was on sale for under $400, which to me then was a great deal. There was much research and thought going into this purchase as I was also looking at the venerable Glock 1...9. Being that I was unfamiliar with the CZ 75 pistols I was a bit leery, but purchased the firearm regardless. I must say that after about 400 rounds later this firearm is operating without any problems. The fit and finish is superb and the operation is smooth. I picked up a couple of additional CZ 75b magazines for $20 each and they work fine in this handgun, because the PO7 mags are a bit pricy. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this firearm to anyone who is budget, yet quality minded. more

this thing rivals any glock. it will eat anything you feed it from cheap steelcase and Winchester white box to critical defense and federal hst this is the gen 1 model with no adjustable back straps and the glock style s...ights only drawback is it takes po7 specific mags and replacement mags are a little pricey at $48. my pistol came missing the white insert from the front sight no big deal as some white nailpolish fixed the problem until I get some trijicons for it . sizewize I would compare it to a 1911 commander im only giving it 4 stars due to the sight insert missing, cz said they would fix it but as stated the nailpolish fix works for me til my night sights come they are dovetailed so it wont be a problem to swap out more

Love the CZ. Even though it's version 1, I don't miss the "upgrades" from 2014. The grip is great and the recoil is easily manageable...minimal muzzle flip. Thought it might be a pain to break the gun down but once you g...et the slide positioned just right, the takedown lever slides out with a gentle push using the mag, key or pocket knife. Accuracy is awesome. My favorite was the XDm, now I'm changing my mind. Once again, Bud's shipped same day and pickup at FFL was no hassle at all. more

The order was processed quickly and the pistol arrived in perfect condition. I ordered the older P 07 DUTY because I had handled and dry-fired one before and I liked the grip and the trigger. After one range trip I was r...eally very impressed. This pistol is as accurate as my Walther P99 AS (also 9mm), which is high praise. The sights, grip and trigger allow me to get really good groups with the 60 rounds I fired through it and I am really pleased. The only problem is that I might have to get another CZ, this one was so good! Thanks. more

This is my first purchase with Bud's and I can't say enough how satisfied I am. I received my CZ exactly 5 days after I purchased it. CZ has made a quality pistol for an unbelievable low price. It shoots very well. The r...ecoil is very tame, and a quick follow up shot is possible do to the low bore axis and nearly non exsitant recoil. The only 2 complaints I have is 1: the "parkerized" slide finish and 2: the plastic sights. I plan on changing the sights out soon from the CZ shop. These 2 complaints are no way near a make or break deal. This is a very fine pistol. This is going to be my ccw and not a prom queen. If you're thinking of buying this, stop thinking and buy it. I promise you will not regret it! I'm very satisfied through Bud's. Top notch customer service. I will be a returning customer here in the near future! more

My FFL dealer recently moved and my order was unable to be delivered . The gun was shippe...d back to Buds and upon the return Buds called me immediatly and set up an alternate FFL dealer. The gun was shipped and I picked it up within 5 days. Couldn't be happier with Buds support on making this transaction as smooth as possible. I will definately do more business with Buds ! First time I have ordered a firearm from Buds and I couldn't be happier. Have been looking at this CZ model for about six months and finally decided to pull the trigger.. This gun is amazing. Was very happy that it came ...with the Glock like goal post sights. I have owned a Glock in the past and let me say... had I shot or handled this one before I would never have spent the extra $200 on a Glock.. Gun needed some serious cleaning when I received it which is to be expected. Shot 100 rounds through it today with no malfunctions or problems. The trigger on this gun is hands down the smoothest I have ever pulled whether DA or SA and I have owned Kimbers, Glocks, and Rugers but wouldn't trade this piece for any of them.. Cool looking, nice to shoot, and pretty simple to disassemble for cleaning.. Thank you Buds will definetly order from you again... more

All I can say is you will not find a better handgun for this price. I shot around 200 rounds right out of the box with no issues. Tulammo, Winchester, Perfecta and ZQI ammo were the rounds I shot and as I mentioned befor...e no malfunctions whatsoever. It came with really nice night sights wich I was already thinking on adding to but cz save me the money and the trouble. It has a bit of kick buts is a compact. Pistol fits great in... my hand. Ergonomics are great. I love this gun.Once i got gun shooting the range cleaned it. I then switched from the decocker to safety fairly easy. Buds helped out a lot. Like i said first time gun buyer so of course i had questions and they helped me out tremendously. Where to Start!!! This was my first gun purchase and I instantly fell for this CZ. A friend of mine told me how much he loved his full size 75, so I thought I would take a look. As I was looking through Bud's website, I ...knew I didn't want a full size but more of a subcompact. The "duty" fits the bill. It came with two mags and really wasn't dirty. I went over to my brother's to shoot. Put 150 rounds of PMC bronze through it without a single problem. The gun feels perfect in the hand with just enough grip even has a texture spot for placing your index finger when drawing so it's not on the trigger. The beavertail really makes a difference in how the gun shoots. We shot my brother's 9mm Makarov as well. Well let me tell you, the recoil was twice that of the CZ which has very little muzzle flip. Only problem is conceal ability. That nice beavertail likes to stick out quite a bit. I am still looking for the right holster to be able to carry it. The takedown and cleaning was soo easy. I watched a video on you tube and learned that you don't need any tools. Just use the corner of one of the magazines to push the pin out. Bud's was a great experience for my first gun purchase as well. I really appreciate the vast selection of guns available with no pressure. The price was the lowest around at the time of purchase. Having a large family, purchasing a weapon wasn't high on the priority list so I used the layaway plan. How nice is that? I didn't use the whole time frame but what a great option! The sale was quick and smooth once the last payment was sent in. Went to the ffl (Jordan Cooper) at JMC Defense! I left him an awesome review as well. Polite and knowledgeable and no pressure. If he can't beat a price, he is glad to be the ffl. In fact I was just there and will be using him as my ffl for a shotgun from Bud's again!! more

My first CZ. I'm really liking this 9mm. It looks good and feels great in my hands. The stippling on the grip is a plus. I heard this pistol was difficult to disassemble the first time, but it took me only about 10 minut...es to change out the decocker for the safety, so that myth is busted. It's nice that they send you the safety and decocker and give you a choice. No accuracy issues at the range, I think mainly because the trigger is nice and this thing is so comfortable to hold. Love that beavertail. The only negative thing I can say is the slide is a bit small for my hands, I have to really get a good grip on it, but that's no big deal. Great concealed carry weapon that can hold 17 cocked and locked. more

Where do I start...right out of the box this was incredible. Accurate, and ultimately amazing! The grips are fantastic and feel perfect, it fires like a champ, with minimal recoil/muzzle flip. I only fired about 150 roun...ds through it first time at the range with it and ZERO failures...CZ really blew my expectations out of the water with this amazing firearm. I will buy CZ again! There is only one gripe with the gun that I have...I am 6'0" about 200 lbs. I have a little bit of a gut, and the back fin on this gun digs into my stomach. The line of works that I'm in requires me to bend and lift and move readily, frequently...Therefore at work I cannot carry this. I suppose that I could file it down or use a different holster but I have not explored those options yet. I choose a front appendix carry, as that's about the only thing that works for me without printing and I've never had anyone notice or able to detect that I carry. So with all that said , I am absolutely in love with my new CZ P07 duty. If you are thinking of getting one by all means, DO IT...you can't go wrong! more

The CZ P07 Duty pistol is Great! I received the pistol in about 2 weeks after placing my order. This is my first purchase from Bud's and I will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future. I contemplated buyin...g a Glock 19 before seeing this and I am glad I went with the CZ. I ran a box of ammo through it and it runs like a charm and it's accurate. The grip feels like it was made for me and it sits well in my hand. I am a big fan of CZ pistols and this pistol fits the bill. I like the optional safety-decocker levers. I think I will keep mine with the decocker installed. Buds was great! This pistol is just amazing. It's accuracy is far superior to other pistols I have shot. I took it to the range this past weekend again and put another 200 rounds through it (~500 to date through this gun...) and people around were complimenting me on how well I was shooting. I put the target out roughly 20 yards and not one round was dropped out of the 9 ring. The wife shot it as well and this is only her second time ever shooting, her first few rounds were in the 9/10 rings, I was pretty amazed at that. I have since purchased another CZ pistol and I have confidence that it will be just as reliable and accurate as this P07. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone. more

After doing a lot of research on type of home defense pistol I wanted to get I kept coming back to the CZ P07 Duty. It cost half of some competitors and appeared to be a well made and reliable weapon. That and the fact t...hat CZ made awesome dirt bikes when I was a kid cinched the deal. Buds was a dream to work with and everything went like clockwork. I have put about 600 rounds of various range ammo through it from TulAmmo steel case Russian stuff to Speer Lawman and other brands. These days you shoot what you can get! I was impressed that the gun eats everything with ease. Never any type of malfunction, even with some friends reloads. I have read various reports on ammo that I have shot successfully in the Duty that chocked other more expensive brands! I think that speaks well for the Duty. I don’t want a gun that is picky about what ammo it likes because the days of being picky about buying ammo look to be gone, at least for some time. This gun appears to like everything I feed it. As far as accuracy, the Duty is more accurate than I am. I can keep 5 shots in an 8” circle at 30 yards. If I was a more disciplined shooter I’m sure that I could do better. But I can easily hit what I aim at and that is what counts really. The “U” rear sight seemed a bit odd at first but it really helps me line up the target and I really like it now that I have shot with it. It is also small enough for my wife to shoot. If it was just for me I would have gone bigger, but the size is just right for her had as well and isn’t as intimidating as a .45. The gun is ridiculously easy to disassemble and clean. It takes about 30 seconds to pop one pin and remove the slide and barrel. I hear of people not cleaning their guns after a trip to the range but I just cannot think of it myself and being so simple to take it down makes it that much easier. A clean gun is a happy gun in my book. To sum up my feeling of the P07 Duty, I LOVE it, it is accurate and goes bang every time with whatever I feed it! I don’t think you could ask for more. more

Awesome ergonomics, I really enjoy shooting my P07. Have not had a single issue with it at all. Took it straight to the range from right of the box and put 300 rounds through it.

First gun purchase from Bud's. Couldn't be more pleased, shipment was very fast. As far as the gun goes, wow. The trigger is better than the HKs and SIGs that I have shot lately, which says quite a bit. No malfunctions a...fter hundreds of rounds, some of which include some very dirty steel rounds and some sketchy reloads. This baby eats them all no problems. Very accurate and great ergonomics. If you can find one, buy it, you won't be disappointed! more

I'm no handgun expert but I have to say this does everything I expect of it. It's as accurate as I am, easy to shoot and has had no mechanical problems no matter what I feed it. I'm not sure I like the decocker but its g...reat to know I can change it to a manual safety if I want. I found the bacstrap to be a bit rough so I rubbed it with 1200 grit sandpaper and smoothed it out. This was my first purchase from Bud's and was very pleased with the price, delivery and order updates. more

I own 17 pistols/revolvers in a variety of calibers and configrations, but this CZ P-07 is my favorite. The ergonomics are outstanding, it fits the hand and the recoil is barely noticable. The accuracy is great, with rep...eatable, small five shot groups. Several hundred rounds through it (factory and lead reloads) and no failures. I subsequently bought a 40S&W slide and magazine for this pistol. Sort of a two for the price of one deal. Very pleased with my purchase. more

I have to say Bud's is great. I bought ammo several times at first and it was always delivered promptly without a single hiccup. I was surprised to see this gun available for immediate purchase and I had to get mine righ...t away, it was on a Friday. On Monday it was waiting at my local FFL. The CZ P07 Duty is a serious beauty. It comes with a nice case, 2 mags, cleaning kit and the safety conversion kit. Mine came stock with the decocker option and I plan to keep it that way. The gun came nicely oiled but not overly so. The trigger is so sweet, long pull but light and comfortable. The looks and craftsmanship are stunning. I loaded one magazine with 147 grain JHP 9mm, I fit in the 16 rounds smoothly. The other mag with cheap practice ammo for the range. The sights are bright and clear. I love it, what else can I say. more

One of the best kept secrets and underrated pistols out there. I love shooting this gun, which is bad for my wallet with the cost of ammo. The trigger is pretty darn good for a stock trigger. it has a little play but a g...reat reset which makes it the perfect double tap gun. The sights are okey, mine shoots a tad high, but as long as you know where to hold its an accurate pistol. I plan on getting new night sights anyway, CZ sells them online. They aren't adjustable but you can get a front sight that will either lower or raise the point of impact depending on what you need. Overall, my favorite polymer gun. If you are looking for a work horse, this is it. I always keep my guns clean, but I purposely haven't cleaned this gun for the past 500-600 rounds just out of curiousity and it hasn't malfunctioned yet. I think I'll give it another 500 rounds before she gets a bath ;) more

Put 200 rounds through the gun at the range this weekend without a failure of any kind, was using Monarch (brass cases) and Federal Champion ammo (both pretty cheap). Put my last four rounds within 2.5 inches at about 15... yards freestanding (and it's the first time I've ever shot more than a handful of rounds from a handgun), so the gun is plenty accurate. A lot of reviews tend to complain about 3 things, none of which were present on my gun. -People complain about a gritty trigger pull, but mine was smooth all the way through. -A lot of people also complain about the inside of slide being all marked up, but mine wasn't at all, it looked just as good as the outside. -Mine came with a captured recoil spring, while most reviews complain this isn't the case. A warning to anyone looking to switch between the safety and decocker (it comes with decocker installed), the switch from decocker to safety is an easy one, but switching back to the decocker can be a pain, as there's a tiny spring that you have put in place with a small screwdriver. The magazines only hold 15 out of the box, but this seems to be common with a lot of new magazines and is remedied by storing the magazine with 15 rounds in it for a few days or through regular use. My only complaint is with the sights, which are the same style Glocks have (not 3 dot). The rear sight is slanted such that the white markings on it appear dim if you aren't outside or don't have a light source to your back. I believe CZ has tritium 3 dot sights for the gun for about $85 from them, so that might not be a bad option. The DA pull is long and heavy (as it should be) and the SA pull is still kinda long and pretty light. A lot of people would probably complain about the length of the SA pull, but by the end of 200 rounds I could pretty accurately predict where it would break. I think it's also a useful teaching tool for letting the gun "surprise" you when shooting rather than a quick jerk of the trigger. As many people have already noted, the gun has a very good feel ergonomically. The gun does ship with an awful lot of lubrication, so I cleaned mine before the initial shooting. In my opinion, the sights thing isn't a big issue at all and it's my only complaint with the gun, so 5 stars for an excellent weapon from CZ. more

I haven't been to the range in over 2yrs,I bought the p07 duty 9mm and immediately I had to test it out. I shot close to 300rounds and I was impressed on how accurate this gun is. I could get groupings about quarter inch... apart from 25yds. 300 rounds isn't very much but it worked flawless. I thought the sights were going to be an issue because they were painted uneven but nonetheless it didn't matter. All in all a great gun for the price.Delivery wasn't long at all. more

This was both my first firearm purchase and my first purchase from Bud's. First off, let me say that I was thrilled with their prices and lightning fast delivery. As for the gun itself, I've been absolutely blown away by... it's performance. I bought it back in October 2011, and so far I've put about 800 rounds through it with not even a hint of failure. The Omega trigger system is phenomenal, especially considering the price point. I don't love the design of the sights, but they seem to be effective, and the gun is way more accurate than I am. Both mags included with the gun dropped free right out of the box, and there is no hint of the frame bulging so far. I would recommend this gun hands down to anybody looking for a reliable, accurate shooter at a great price! more

I bought my CZ 2/20/2012 and I haven't any real issues other than the instructions are poor. Besides that the mag issue that so many worried about is fixed out of the box. Capacity of the 16 round mag is 15 since the spr...ing is so tight. Easy fix though, just leave 15 rounds in the mag for 5 days then 16 rounds for 4 days. Other than that though the pistol is a sweet shooter. Everything you want in a gun especially cc. I've fed hundred of cheaper rounds through it without any problems. Shoots Jhp w/o any issues, like it was made to fire them from the box. So far, I'veput a 1,000 rounds of any and every kind of ammo. What more do you expect, It's CZ. They are strong, inexpensive, accurate, reliable pistols. And I trust it to keep me and my family safe. As for buds, this was my first time buying online and they put my fears of buying guns online to rest. They save me $25/$50 even after the transfer fee at my ffl. I got my pistol in hand on the 24th. Thank you Budsgunshop.com for great service and amazing prices. more

And to tell you the truth was terrified to purchase this gun. i put a hundred rounds of cheap federal ammo through it today and i LOVE LOVE this gun NO FTE OR FTT and trigger and mag drop worked perfectly. This thing is amazing shoots tight groups and i dont know where to even begin its just beautiful. DONT HESITATE JUST BUY IT!!!!!! and as for the frame bulge i have no signs after 100 rounds even if it gets it i dont care you can see it unless feild stripped "supposably" and its not suposed to affect performance. more

About a year ago I decided (after much research and field testing) to purchase the "9mm CZ-P07 Duty" for its lightweight fierceness. The polymer frame makes CC a much more realistic option for a double stacked mag firear...m. After noticing a possible telling bulge on my back I opted for an inner waistband holster. Since the change, I love having the accuracy, rounds and stability of the p-07 at my fingertips with minimal traces of suspect bulges, especially in the work place. The firearm has NOT failed in any process. No FI, FX, FB, etc.. Surprisingly accurate with a manageable kick, easy to re acquire target quickly and confidently. MY ONLY CON concerns the minimal paint job on the sights (Easily removed, easily fixed) & some picattiny rail attachments may fit tight due to enhanced trigger guard diameter. I actually carry this piece over my Taurus .38 Special Ultra Lite everyday. Why? Shoot it and you will know. Buds Gun Shop has been a dependable and knowledgeable resource for great products and great prices. Highly Recommend!! more

Absolutely amazing gun. feels so good in hand. even with sweaty hands this thing just stays put. Bought from Bud's Oct. 2009. 18 months have only about 600 rounds through it. Not a single failure. it had gulped down brow...n bear, wolf, winchester value pack. No issue with Mags dropping either. Trigger is halfway decent also for such a low priced gun. Everyone that shoots this is amazed how accurate it is for a small gun. Way better feeling than any glock i have ever shot. Just an excellent gun for the price. more

I just got this pistol, and it is my first CZ. I have read about them and heard about them being great guns, but for some reason, holding a CZ75 never really gave me a fuzzy feeling.... until now. Some might disagree,... but I really like the feel of the polymer gun. The grip feels smaller than many other high capacity pistols out there. Seems like the bore axis sits low in your hand, and I now understand the term "pointable" as people tend to use it in respect to guns. I own Glock, M&P, Sig SP2022 and P250, two Springfield 1911s (one TRP), among others, and I think this is my favorite shooter. It has been extremely accurate out of the box. I would compare this to my $1300 Springfield TRP in terms of accuracy in my hands. So far, out of about 250 rounds, I have had zero issues, which I can only say about this CZ, the Glock 19 (15 yrs 2500 rounds), and the Sig SP2022 (only about 50 rounds through it so far). Double action trigger pull is long and heavy, but why use it when you can simply cock the hammer and shoot single action with 4 lb pull? I left mine with the decocker installed instead of the 1911 style safety, but for those fans of "cocked & locked", CZ includes the parts and instructions to switch. Very reliable, VERY accurate, comfortable, and a great value for $430 or so. Comes with two 16 round mags (Sig gives you one, FNX three). more

This was my first purchase from Bud's and I must say it was a very smooth transaction with fast shipping. The pistol itself is a very nice shooter. I had no problems firing 200 rounds of bargain ammo without a hitch. The... trigger was a little stiff and unpredictable at first but that quickly went away after about 50 rounds. I am not a professional by any means but was able to fire 3 inch groups at 10 yards. I'm sure in the hands of a more competent shooter the gun would be more accurate. It is small enough for concealed carry and the ergonomics are great !! The pistol comes with an extra magazine and the lever for converting it to a decocker if you wish. The sights are adequate and seem to be pretty accurate. I can highly recommend this pistol to anyone for a CCW or a target shooter. Recoil is very manageable enabling for fast accurate shooting. more

I thought I owed a F/U review after the last one I wrote concerning the mag drop issue. I got my Duty back the other day from having it serviced under warranty. Now the mags drop beautifully, but they sent it back with t...he paint removed from the front sight. Why? Didn't the CZ gunsmith notice it was gone? BTW...when I first got the gun new, half the paint was gone from the sight. So I put my own coat on and after the warranty repair it too has been removed. Maybe CZ is trying to tell me I need some after market sights, which, after considerable research I found don't exist yet for this gun. I have yet to fire it but I hope to next week when a friend comes to visit from out of state. For those who are interested, the CZ warranty is 1 year on wooden parts and serface treatment and 5 years on other parts. more

I sent my P-07 Duty back to the factory, under warranty, for the magazines failing to drop when when the mag release is pressed. Bought it in January and hadn't had a round through it yet. CZ paid for the shipping and th...e customer rep. I talked to over the phone said CZ has had a lot of returns of this gun for this reason. He said they have attributed it to a problem with the particular polymers that were used. Judging from the number of posts on the CZ Forum from other purchasers, the problem is widespread. I hope they get the kinks ironed out and that the replacement gun people say they are getting in exchange shoots as well as these other posters have experienced. As for my experience with Buds.....their prices can't be beat. No problem with them. more

This is the first 9mm that i bought after shooting almost everything out there from the highpoint to the XDM Tried everything i could think of until i stumbled onto this gun when wandering around buds Went to my local gu...n store and the gun just felt perfect. New trigger system feels great. As for mag issues? i just got back from the range with this gun no longer than an hour ago and there are ZERO to speak of (150 rounds+) Zero FTF/FTE/Stovepipes. This gun ate everything i could throw at it with out the slightest hiccup(FMJ, HP, +P) Very managable recoil compared to other 4" or less barrel 9mm's i've fired in the past and accurate to boot Very happy with this purchase. Only gripe... The factory sights are not the greatest and there is no after market for tricon/tritium yet. As well no one makes a higher capacity magizine yet Buds, this is my second purchase from you in the last 6 months and i just want to thank you guys for quality customer service and great pricing more

Very nice tactical gun for the money. The P-07 is rugged and well built, and is also very accurate. I have never had any feeding/firing problems with mine and I have put about 400 rounds of Winchester (white box) and Ame...rican Eagle through it so far. The only thing I have noticed is that the right side of the frame rail just above the trigger is starting to swell which supposedly is common with this model, but it does not affect the function of the gun at all. It has a smooth single action but the double action trigger is a little rough. All-in-all it's a great gun for the money and fun to shoot, you wont be disappointed. more

I love this gun, very smooth trigger. I am not a seasoned shooter and recently got my carry permit along with a lady friend. I bought her a P-07 also because the grip is comfortable for her. Because I am not a regular sh...ooter, it might be significant that the first time I shot the P-07 I put 8 shots in a 3" diameter spot at 60 feet with 1 fly. Perhaps that is a testamony to P-07's accuracy. I could not do that with the Springfield 40 cal. or the Glock 17. The gun is light and easy to handle although my lady friend has difficulty pulling the slide. Perhaps it will become easier with more use. As for Bud's professionalism and efficiency, I would like to compliment them on their service when I ordered the P-07. more

There's just something about the ergonomics of this piece, the way the barrel sits so low when you grip it up high, the angle of the grip, the compactness of it all...over 800rds through as of this date, one failure to f...eed during break-in period, flawless ever since. My fellow reviewers are right - this is a stunningly accurate pistol, not sure why exactly, it almost doesn't make sense, but I can carve out bullseyes at 20yds with this thing over and over and over again, accuracy on par with my much more expensive stuff. Some have griped about the shape of the trigger guard, but I think they don't realize how compact this pistol really is, looks better proportioned in real life. That squared-off trigger guard is specifically designed to fit flush against the back of a rail-mounted flashlight, rather than push it away from the activation finger with a rounded guard. An excellent choice for target or defensive shooting. I feel many police departments would be better off issuing these to patrol officers over the Glocks - I wish everyone could try 'em back to back before deciding. Oh, almost forgot, Bud's not only has best price hands-down, but their service is simply perfect. more

First-I had an issue with an out of box failure with this pistol, the mag release was defective. I contacted CZ and it was a known problem on some of this model but they sent a fedex call tag and it was replaced within 2... weeks with a NEW one. Now, this is one of the most accurate 9mm's I have fired (have over 20 9's). even with the under 4" barrel. Its grip and purchase is way above average. It comes as a MESS but let some solvent soak all that crap off. The take down and cleaning is simple, however, the recoil spring is a BITCH to re-insert. If ever a model needed a captured recoil spring-this is it. more

Love this gun. Bought this at a gun show, Bud's unfortunately wasn't stocking it at the time. Great feel and pointability, better than any other polymer that is SA/DA that I have looked at. Accuracy/fit/finish is compara...ble to my XDM. 200+ rounds with no malfunctions. SA trigger is best I have felt on an out of the box gun. At this point it is my favorite gun (XDM, Colt Commander, Berreta 84 & 92) Would prefer a three dot sight vs the U rear sight, but not bad. Great for CCW, about the size of my Berreta 84, but with 16+1 9mm. Buy one, you won't regret it. Bud's has a great price. I would buy this over a SIG, XD, Glock, S&W or H&K, especially given the price delta. Added a Pachmayr grip glove, highly recommend if you have large hands. more
