See DealAvailable in two variants, the Scorpion Carbine is a whole new animal. Building on the lauded submachinegun platform that first hit the US civilian market in pistol form in 2015, the Carbine has a 16.2 barrel fitted with either a compensating muzzle brake or a faux suppressor built specifically for CZ-USA by SilencerCo. Fit with the factorys folding adjustable stock, the Carbine features a number of US-made parts to make it fully 922(r) compliant. One of the nicest features of the firearm is the newly-designed forend, covered in M-LOK attachment points to keep the profile slim while still being big enough to swallow most pistol-caliber suppressors should the owner decide down the road to convert it into an SBR for use with a suppressor. Low-profile aluminum adjustable sights round out the platform, and a top Picatinny rail allows the mounting of a wide number of optics. Simple and reliable, the Scorpion not only has ambidextrous controls, its non-reciprocating charging handle is swappable and reach to the trigger is adjustable. Carrying on the Scorpions reputation as a reliable pistol-caliber plinker without breaking the bank.

How would you like to rate CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 08505?
I've been looking at one the these carbines for a while and finally Buds wore me down enough to get one. So far, I have been impressed! The feel coming out of the box is great. It points well, is well balanced and just feels right! My only gripe has to be the charging handle is a little small and a little hard to operate. This will probably be my first mod. ...more
I ordered this rifle almost 1 year ago and I can say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I have put at least 1000 rounds through it, maybe more. It came perfectly sighted for around 100 yards out of the box. It's very accurate, although I haven't tried it past 100 yards. There did not seem to be a break-in period and it's functioned perfectly every time I take it out. There have been no jams, misfeeds or any malfunctions. It is very easy to clean, field stripping it is only 3 parts (Receiver, bolt, and trigger group). Completely stripping the rifle is easy as well. I did read reviews that complained about the grip not being very ergonomic. Maybe it's how I hold it or how my hands are but I haven't had any issues with ergonomics or the safety lever digging into my hand. So far my only complaint is that the magazines crack over time. I don't keep mine loaded but I noticed a few months ago that the feed lips on my original magazines had cracks. CZ was really nice to deal with and they replaced them for free under warranty. I haven't seen a need for adding an optic yet, the factory sights are very nice and easy to acquire a picture. As for dealing with Buds, it was very painless. I bought my rifle around Thanksgiving of last year and it arrived at my FFL less than a week later. That amazed me because of the time of year and the fact that I live well over 2,000 miles away. Overall I would recommend this rifle and purchasing from Buds. ...more
Great little carbine
Bought at Academy in Burlington NC. Helpful crew at the counter; I could tell they enjoyed their work and helping customers make good decisions. This is a high quality, fun to shoot, well made carbine. 9mm ammo is reasonable cost and readily available. M-lok attachments, great iron sights (4-way aperture- yes 4 different rings to flip through!), sweet solid side folding and pull adjustable stock, and muzzle brake (1/2 x 28”) make this one handsome little shooter, that functions flawlessly so far. Hard to buy a firearm today without some sort of dread of being bullied or shamed by public media but recreational, safe target shooting is a fun and wholesome activity that adults and properly supervised youth of all ages and abilities can equally enjoy and this is ideal for it. Wasn’t sure at first didn’t buy it but walked out and read some of plentiful reviews about this carbine while browsing on my phone and never left the parking lot. Went back in and bought it and I really like it. ...more
